@TulipKitten
Yeah, I might reserve the white outline for highlighting
like...

@basisbit
I am just wondering how to make these buttons translate-able
TulipKitten
@TulipKitten
I haven't gotten to that.
I can edit translations onto the SVG easily, but that's not an "everyone" thing.
Not a lot of people want to bother with Inkscape to edit text.
Well, except when the characters are non-Indo-European
Then I would need to find a new font.
TulipKitten
@TulipKitten
It might be better to do a drop down menu instead of buttons. At least if there's no way to affix the size of a specific text strong and have the font change size accordingly.
TulipKitten
@TulipKitten
*text string
I'm thinking of splitting the images and making a theme folder, so each thing is customizable

The reason I was thinking about the button thing is if you decide to play this on say, an Android tablet, it would be easier to navigate.
TulipKitten
@TulipKitten
Oh, I didn't even show the main menu completed

I was thinking about how to make it easy to translate, and I realized I've been thinking of it all wrong
basisbit
@basisbit
so, why not keep the button separated from the text labels? THis way, the font & translation can easily be done in Unity

With the alpha release, should we also provide the Mac app? I just freshly compiled it and it runs without problems (macOS Catalina)
basisbit
@basisbit
could you please upload it?
I wasn't able to test it, so I did not upload it
Markus Böhning
@bohning
sure. As .zip or as .app?
basisbit
@basisbit
whatever is native / typical on macOS
Markus Böhning
@bohning
okay, that would be the .app
basisbit
@basisbit
:thumbsup:

@bohning
I will test how much zipping compresses it if it is worth it
basisbit
@basisbit
thanks, have to go back to work now
Markus Böhning
@bohning
no problem, done
Zip is ~30% of app-size, so I uploaded the zipped version
also makes it more consistent with the other two files

Congrats to the release of USDX :)
I just downloaded it and it works like a charm. It will replace my ancient 1.3.5 release, which was a little buggy when searching songs.

@bohning
Hi guys
I just noticed that after using the search (via CTRL), I can’t enter the sing screen (anymore?), nothing happens when I hit enter on any song. When I go back to the main menu, then choose „Sing“ again to enter the song selection, I can start the first or any song. Can anybody confirm this before I open a new issue for that?
achimmihca
@achimmihca
This is true. The search text field still has the focus. This special case be fixed with #173.
Note however, you have this also when you click a checkbox of a player. Hitting enter afterwards will toggle the checkbox instead of starting a song, because the checkbox still has the focus.

@bohning
Thanks for looking into this, achimmihca!

Hey! Anybody here using a Mac?
basisbit
@basisbit
Sorry, nope, not using macOS here.
@achimmihca I gave you maintainer role at the Play repository, as you by far do most of the work and I am still busy with other projects which is probably not gonna change until Covid19 is over.
achimmihca
@achimmihca
Which url do I have to paste in the DownloadContentScene? Maybe there should be a working example as default in tge text field.
Also, I just fixed the button to navigate to this scene. Will be included in next PR

Hi there! Can anybody help me with the following error message?
Assets/Common/Util/ApplicationUtils.cs(3,7): error CS0246: The type or namespace name 'Boo' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)
achimmihca
@achimmihca
The file seems to have an unsused import Boo.Lang.
This can be removed. I guess it was an automatically added import for something.
Anyway, Boo was a more python-like language (I think) that you could use instead C# in earlier versions of Unity. I think they dropped support for it.
Dont know why the import is there in the first place.

@bohning
In order for Play to compile, it needs some kind of „Microphone Usage Description“. Compilation failed without it.

(on macOS, that is)

could you please create a pull request with a description set there? @bohning
