Also works with The SingStar USB mic on the Shield. Only issue is playing AVI encoded tracks but pretty awesome.

I am not sure if the code for that changed already but I had a pretty nice idea for gameplay. So row positions are calculated by the average midi note of the current sentence right? So if all notes have the same pitch they'll be in the middle and it'd look like its the same pitch as the last sentence. On my web version I tried making that average midi note influenced by whatever the the average midi note for the last sentence was. (took the average of the old and the new) That way it looks a lot better. Could probably be improved for large jumps but it's a nice QOL thing.

Network address normally starts with two backsalshes. Did you try
\\192.168.178.34?
It sounds like the above question has different expectations that what the answer is for. UltraStar Play requires the song folder to be on the local device as a folder. Play however also supports downloading song package files (which are then unpacked to a local folder of the app storage on the phone / TV / computer). I guess a documentation of what is expected as format of the downloadable song package file is missing so far.

You can find the path to your SD card using some file managers. For example, Simple File Manager shows the path in the folder details.

Thanks. I could reach the path after having connected my Samsung 10e to my Windows laptop.
So I was able to upload my own songs to my Phone in the standard Android folder of Ultrastar Play.
Another thing: I also installed the Android version on FireTV HD. Installation succeeded but after starting the App no button works. It is stuck on the first page. Buttons can be selected but without reaction.
But I still have another issue: I connected my Scarlet 2i2 audio interface to my phone. Mic is recognized in general in the Ultrastar App (also during a song) but I can only hear the song title not my voice over the mic? Is this an Android issue?
this is as designed. UltraStar Play is a sing-along karaoke game, it does not repeat the audio that the microphone picks up.
lots of computers support direct microphone audio playback with hardware acceleration, so that there is very little delay. As far as I know, phones do not offer that out of the box. I'd assume that a usb microphone connected to the phone and also connected to a speaker over wire would do a better job
There are also technical limitations. I tried passing the mic input to an audio output with Unity's API. But there was a significant latency such that I heared everything "twice" and not in sync. I use my USB mic in USPlay with a delay of approx. 300 milliseconds. Even without the pitch analysis, this is way too much. Of course, other sound cards might perform better. But I still have doubts because of Unity API and C# as managed language.
Thus I agree with basisbit, passing the mic input to a speaker by another app (or operating system feature?) would be the better option.

That was probably an error in USPlay. Would need to inspect the log files.
they are made to play video just fine, so they should be able to power usplay
F11 should toggle window/fullscreen mode
