These are chat archives for UltraStar-Deluxe/USDX
and please commit the changed documentation file
read the commit log. there is none.
the installer does not set read+write rights for logged in users on the install folder and thus the game can't be played on many systems
i've replied in the specific issue. no other reply.
also, why did you add that annoying background music to the installer again?
to keep it original to what UltraStar Deluxe was about before the WorldParty changes (which stripped a lot).
what is "mog" in the ascii logo supposed to mean?
it's the original author Mike Gränz "mog". it's his signature for that ascii logo. removing it would be similar to like removing copyright notice with copyright material.
files are missing (for example the opengl32_.dll )
is it even used? it god added without any message and it has the wrong name to be automatically linked ("_"-suffix). the game on windows runs fine without it.

that's not part of the installer. it's part of the game. The portable version also does not work if moved into a readable only place like ProgramFiles and started without elevation (aka no RunAsAdmin).
I am still waiting for the documentation original file.
have you checked the commit log. I've written it down there. "only modified". There is no original file. That committed pdf is the most "original" which exists.
The game itself should never require admin rights or you break running the game for many Casey
please, check the game before. it is not the installer which breaks the game "game can't be played on many systems". It is the game itself.
