I'm looking to use Universal Viewer, so I saw that there were two ways to use the images; either by packages or by the IIIf service. In my case I think using packages; my question is: "Should I generated myself the manifest structure or there another way?", thank you

Hi, if I understand the question correctly you are asking about whether to use the old Wellcome Player package format or IIIF manifests? You would without question want to use the IIIF manifest format (http://iiif.io/api/presentation/2.0/) as this is a standard and in any case the UV no longer supports the package format. The UV currently only supports images served by the IIIF image api (http://iiif.io/api/image/2.0/), but in future it may be possible to display regular (not tile-based) images as well.
You may want to try this for generating manifests: https://github.com/IIIF/osullivan

the UV has had a great deal more work than the Wellcome Player. The package format was really just a temporary measure

Ok, but I have not found getting to install UV with IIIF, do you have some links to these resources?

Another stupid (maybe) question but, currently i've loris installed in /home/loris and i've a project in /var/www/my-project . How can i the images folder from /var/www/my-project to provide images with Loris ? I never did Python .. =D, i'm not familiar with this process ..

I'm not sure but i've copy the webapp.py in loris folder and edit to my-project.py et change the src_img_root
(Flooder inside ..)
