I couldn't get anything different from the 4 browsers I tried.

I used the replacement update blob for the Cookies.php file from GitHub - could that be it?

No, checked the login there and for the v3 demo login as well, and get in perfectly in both.

THAT'S what was making me think I was starting to slip mentally (lol!).

Well that site is running on PHP7 on my ubuntu server... so I am starting to think its a server setting... but how to fix that within UAP... lol

Just had prob with disappearing login page for v3, but v4 is still rock-solid, and my WAMP pkg is PHP7 as well, so there should be no issue.

So close...(lol!).

I just don't understand why it works for me with FireFox but not Edge... and then does not work for you with either.

Then again I don't understand why v3 works but v4 give us these issues. Not much has changed with the way the login works.

I disabled the auto refresh for the login page and it shows me as logged in... however it kicks me out when I leave that page.

For all intents and purposes, I'm logged in, but can't access my account - think there's an issue with the $this->isLogged check?

I still have not had any luck getting it to work with Edge, but makes more sense. According to the above link Edge does not like localhost. So I wonder if we try it on a remote computer if it will work properly.

Then again that post if for virtual servers. humm..

ah ha... when I access it by my local ip it worked.

Just make sure you update the config.php file for the site url.

Good morning, @davarravad - that's strange about Edge not liking localhost as I've been developing almost a year with this box (which was brand-new) and haven't had any probs on that note. BUT - https://1drv.ms/i/s!AjqzS3qSpxqIhF0Yo8PvW-lqxx5g - shows the login process succeeding in Chrome. Testing in Firefox to follow (with image - give me a minute, lol!).

I don't full understand it, but Edge is said to be more secure so that might have something to do with it. No idea

Maybe later if I get a chance I will start working on the Friends feature for UAP. That is my next project. I am slowly adding a lot of the features that were in my first UAP release.

Crazy, right? Here it is working on FF - https://1drv.ms/i/s!AjqzS3qSpxqIhF5Q2PRWM6SNfJ4a - tested with both IE & Edge and no joy in either browser.
