Maybe later if I get a chance I will start working on the Friends feature for UAP. That is my next project. I am slowly adding a lot of the features that were in my first UAP release.

Let me try EDGE/IE again as something may have snapped in - I think the change in config to use 127.0.0.1 may have had something to do with it in the other browsers.

Cookie.php as the number of Members Online is correct, but the menu bar state never changes in either EDGE/IE.
That Friends project sounds killer...
as for the online status... when a user logs in, it submits to database. Then does a check when other users use the site.
Have you tried it using the local ip? like 192.168..?

Just finished checking it out - no problem logging in with IE (lol!) - what's the secret there?
I'm going to re-install just to check that some burr in the process doesn't exist on my end. My issue may all have to do with the fact that I really didn't register, and putting my user in may have disturbed the whole registration flow. Is it supposed to be easy to register from localhost?
BTW, is there something special I have to do to activate the Recaptcha before I install UAP (change to my public/private keys)?
You can go in and change them after everything else is setup and registration should work fine.
