VR enabled AR (VRENAR) users/Lobby

Today the Declarations on Formation of the new Community Interest Company, REMMI Research CIC were completed and sent. This will be publicly viewable at UK Companies House on registration of the company. The text of how the VRENAR community will benefit from the activity of the company is as follows:

The community will benefit firstly by being identified and promoted by this activity. The expanding new community will then benefit from this activity enabling connection of all members with one another, all over the world, with Augmented Reality (AR) access to a common shared virtual reality (VR) world, which reflects the physical real world in detail.

That benefit will be enabled by this activity including the development of a global PointCloud, hosted by a scalable distributed peer-to-peer hosting system architecture which we will raise funds for, execute, and / or coordinate the required development of, in the interests of the community.
The required system architecture is similar to, and compatible with Blockchain technologies, in that it is user / crowd driven, open sourced, and distributed freely amongst users, by users, in an infinitely expandable way, which inherently protects the underlying valuable PointCloud data, and is highly resistant to commercial exploitation. Thus this activity is not viable as a commercial development project, but is ideal to being community / crowd driven and funded by it's own members, offering maximal benefits to the community.

All funding members of the community will receive prototype software with the above characteristics for testing as a group. The software as above will form the basis of a new highly immersive social media technology which uses a key combination of the technologies of AR and VR. We identify this new technology here as VRENAR, it's users as the VRENAR community, and the work of developing VRENAR as the VRENAR Project. This will have the characteristic of being able to scale upwards to freely include and integrate all people on Earth, enabling a collective shared awareness of all other people, their environments, and their cultures, far beyond any communicative and social media technologies previously seen. The system will be publicly available after prototyping.

The VRENAR project was inspired by ground-breaking developments during, and built on the foundation of an established and ongoing Open University academic PhD research project, "The Possibilities of Real World First Person View (FPV) Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Interactions with the users of Virtual Environments", a.k.a. the "Remote-me" project. The civil UAV of that project inherently functions as a virtual world controlled real world PointCloud data collector, a vital instrumental component of VRENAR. Thus the VRENAR project is a community driven extension of the "Remote-me" PhD project, and the new Community Interest Company reuses REMMI, a multi-lingual acronym of "Remote-me", in its name, preserving continuity of that project.
