    @ViktorDimitrievski there's this function also setCenter(latLong: any) { this._mapPromise.then(() => { this.map.setCenter(latLong); this.sendBoundsEvent(); }); }
    I think you can set to any lat ,long that you want.
    I didn't test it.

    @ViktorDimitrievski
    @RenathoAzevedo I will see which function will solution. But I didn't know about this before view-model.ref="myMap"
    I did't find in documentation this segment
    Renatho Azevedo
    @renathoaz
    @ViktorDimitrievski neither do i, Thank to @VMBindraban for letting me know about it.

    @ViktorDimitrievski Viktor I'm trying to use markers but it says : Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'getZoom' of undefined
    @ViktorDimitrievski I got that working only using markersChanged() function and passing myMarker
    @ViktorDimitrievski but using the initial markers.bind="myMarkers"' doesn't work.
    Viktor
    @ViktorDimitrievski
    @RenathoAzevedo yes that is the problem with current version of plugin.
    I fix this with moving this in resources as custom element and after use it like globalResources
    Renatho Azevedo
    @renathoaz
    @ViktorDimitrievski with markersChanged(myMark) fucntion, it worked. It changes the pin.
    @ViktorDimitrievski but it kind makes that markes.bind useless
    Viktor
    @ViktorDimitrievski
    Yes because plugin has bug. But if you move plugin in globalResources with this code https://github.com/Vheissu/aurelia-google-maps/pull/63/files
    Renatho Azevedo
    @renathoaz
    @ViktorDimitrievski It looks like simple to solve, why not to update the plugin? @Vheissu
    Viktor
    @ViktorDimitrievski
    Yes it simple :D

    @ViktorDimitrievski I don't know if you're using aurelia-cli , but have you ever noticed that the source mapping pointing the debugger at google-maps.ts. Which it probably shouldn't be doing. Could be a bug in the browser, or a bug in aurelia-cli, or a misconfiguration in the aurelia-google-maps build.
    In the debug console it points to google-maps.ts at line 50 instead of vendor-bundle.js

    @ViktorDimitrievski view-model.ref is an aurelia thing. Read here about the other ref’s: https://www.tutorialspoint.com/aurelia/aurelia_refs.htm
    @RenathoAzevedo Are you calling getZoom() in the attached? Because google isn’t loaded yet then (or it is but you have a race-condition). You can use the aurelia's eventaggregator to listen to googlemap:api:loaded and then call the function.
    Viktor
    @ViktorDimitrievski
    @RenathoAzevedo Yes I have that error in console and I move from node_modules to CE it's now okay.
    @VMBindraban I didn't know that. Thank you.
    Renatho Azevedo
    @renathoaz
    @VMBindraban I wasn't just calling marker.bind. But I decided to use only lat and long that was perfect to me. I don't need the marker. But I hope that can be fixed soon.

    hey
    hello, there.. how do you set the height of dom element for the map?
    I think it is do-able through the CSS, but is there another way to do this?
    Zubair Ahmed
    @zubair1024
    @VMBindraban ? @RenathoAzevedo ? @ViktorDimitrievski ?
    Vijay Bindraban
    @VMBindraban
    @zubair1024 CSS only :(
    Zubair Ahmed
    @zubair1024
    @VMBindraban @RenathoAzevedo @ViktorDimitrievski @alleac is there a way of manually setting the bounds of the map? if so how?
    Vijay Bindraban
    @VMBindraban
    @zubair1024 Nope. Make a PR to support this? :)
    Zubair Ahmed
    @zubair1024
    @VMBindraban how do you auto-bound or auto-center the map to the markers? and how to manually disable this feature?
    Vijay Bindraban
    @VMBindraban
    It is disabled by default, if you enable it it will zoom in/out based on your makers
    I don’t know it if auto-centers, doesnt make sense to auto-center because there is no center marker
    if you have auto-bound enabled
    Zubair Ahmed
    @zubair1024
    <google-map markers.bind="markers" view-model.ref="googleMap" map-loaded.call="mapOnLoad(map, $event)" auto-update-bounds="true" style="height: 800px"></google-map>
    Vijay Bindraban
    @VMBindraban
    If you have makrers in the markers variable, it should work
    Zubair Ahmed
    @zubair1024
    and I populate the markers array in a function but that does not auto-bound the map
    Vijay Bindraban
    @VMBindraban
    I never tried the auto-update-bounds function though
    Zubair Ahmed
    @zubair1024
    it places the markers on the map but does not auto-bound/auto-pan the map to the markers
    no error in the console as well
    Vijay Bindraban
    @VMBindraban
    @Vheissu Any idea why it doesnt work for @zubair1024 ?
    Zubair Ahmed
    @zubair1024
    @Vheissu would be of immense help 😊
    Vijay Bindraban
    @VMBindraban
    If someone can take a look it would be great :) Vheissu/aurelia-google-maps#86

    hope someone is there... there...... there
    <crickets>
    How the heck to I get my hands on the Google map types? I want to create a polygon, where is google.maps.polygon?
    Vijay Bindraban
    @VMBindraban
    Good question, nobody reads this channel
    Perhaps create a issue for it
    Quooston
    @quooston_twitter
    I'll do that in future, thanks @VMBindraban. For anyone wondering, the google types are attached to the window object by the library, so they are available for use without any ceremony, just new them up.
