Make yourself a note for PHP, Gary. Chapter 22 exercise doesn't work. Nothing like trying to use an outdated YouTube API.

Giant if statement.....that sounds like fun. Too bad there's no switch statement. Those are so much cleaner.

@garyanewsome

programming is not history or geography and cannot be taught from a book, you have to actually know and understand the material
You can do a switch in VB or so I think you can lol, it's really a matter of validating that there is something in a text box so If txtBox1 = "" get cranky else do something except it is 7 text box long

She said she'd look at it. It's due tonight so I'm going to see if I can't find the right URLs but I'm not killing myself over it.

Is the 7 text boxes long one A.4? I just did A.3 and it had 3 boxes so far. I'm going to be getting into A4 in a bit here

Consider yourself warned! Have you never seen the huge lump on my forehead from beating it against the wall? :grimacing:
It's a LOT of work. 2 chapters almost every week. The only good thing is that the data files include the solutions to the Exercises (or at least most of the answers). That helps a LOT.

Of course when you get to section C the book uses String.Empty instead of my something.Text =""
Finished it up, not to bad, still no test posted though
