    I know it's a pain to maintain and Markdown doesn't require it but it makes it a lot less "wait what huh" when you're trying to find the spot you were trying to contribute to

    Okay, I'm going to change number 7 to say... wait, what? These all say "1." Where's the line I was trying to edit? It was the one that started "user agents must not" - oh, wait, that's, like, all of them.

    etc

    I have to disagree with you there, unfortunately.

    @stuartpb
    meh, I'm +0 about it

    Linking to http://www.w3.org/Consortium/pwe/#Procedures is also important to make it clear what the procedure is
    Though on Discourse users should use the flag
    And should use it liberally (ie, whenever the conversation veers beyond the boundaries of professional disagreement)

    In fact while we're at it http://discourse.wicg.io/tos and particularly http://discourse.wicg.io/tos#9 should probably get edited now that the Discourse is under W3C rules
    Marcos Cáceres
    @marcoscaceres
    Yeah, will do that seperately
    this will do for now tho
    Stuart P. Bentley
    @stuartpb
    I still think the PR should specifically mention the Discourse moderation procedures
    since those are way more accessible
    and they keep the Discourse very tidy

    Added link to discourse tos

    it's more about the FAQ though
    which is actually nothing like a FAQ
    I think the badge system calls it "community guidelines"
    Marcos Cáceres
    @marcoscaceres
    ah
    Stuart P. Bentley
    @stuartpb
    Yeah they're also hosted at http://discourse.wicg.io/guidelines
    though it's the same content

    let's encrypt can't come soon enough
    Marcos Cáceres
    @marcoscaceres
    @yoavweiss thanks for sorting that out
    Yoav Weiss
    @yoavweiss
    Robin did a large chunk of splitting the server into two servers

    I copied the Discourse bast-practice posts to https://github.com/stuartpb/wicg-best-practices/blob/master/discourse.md
    I'll take a rough first stab at proposals.md now

    @yoavweiss
    @stuartpb looks good! I'd add a "write a use-cases document"
    and prioritize that+explainer over a spec, until a proposal gets some traction
    Stuart P. Bentley
    @stuartpb
    What are some guidelines around, and examples of, use-case documents?
    Yoav Weiss
    @yoavweiss
    My goto example would be https://usecases.responsiveimages.org/
    not sure about official guidelines
    Stuart P. Bentley
    @stuartpb
    OK - it's getting late for me so I'm going to get to bed, but that'll be what I'll tackle tomorrow
