WISE development on Windows without Docker works now, assuming you have Windows 10 and enable dev mode. I updated this page so it can be used for both Windows and Mac developers: https://github.com/WISE-Community/WISE/wiki/How-to-Setup-WISE-Local-Development

hey @geoffreykwan I see an error in Chrome Dev Console, W5 AT when I create new ConceptMap component or open an existing one. Only seems to be happening in AT and doesn't seem to hinder authoring.

@breity I think I found a bug: #813 Can you reproduce this? I can’t get the cursor to focus on the input in the new note dialog.

Hmm, I think this could be a problem with the report rich text editor (Summernote) perhaps. I can't seem to unfocus from the report without collapsing the report window. So I'm seeing the same problem you outline here with all inputs (like an open response field too).

you’re right- I can interact with other inputs: canvas, buttons, sliders, select dropdowns…only textarea can’t get the focus.

Yes, sorry I meant all textareas. Weird. After 5.4, I'll take a look to see if I can figure out what's going on.

Hey guys, fyi, my latest commit (bd6b1d0b0d5fc660fee08ac9811e8e616be25c37) requires making changes to wise.properties after pulling. See 5.5 release notes for details. https://github.com/WISE-Community/WISE/wiki/WISE-v5.5-Release-Notes.
Let me know if it breaks anything in your local environment. There were a lot of maven dependency updates.

Hey guys- I finished #953. After pulling the latest, run “npm run watch-all” (instead of just running “gulp”). This should start a process that:
  1. transpile changed .es6 files
  2. compile changed .sass files
  3. run unit tests
Let me know if you run into issues.

hey guys with this commit you can reference symbolic linked resources while running in embedded mode. WISE-Community/WISE@b56eb9b.
This will be useful for working on models and testing changes without having to refresh.
  1. cd to curriculum folder
  2. make a soft link: ln -s path_to_resource local_folder_name
