    I tried that, it did not work
    :-(
    I found the compile flags and realized that they were referring to Signal-iOS/Pods/Headers/Public/ProtocolBuffers/ProtocolBuffers.h, while I only have Signal-iOS/Pods/Headers/Public/ProtocolBuffers/ProtocolBuffers/ProtocolBuffers.h, i.e. one extra dir named ProtocolBuffers
    copying all the header files to Signal-iOS/Pods/Headers/Public/ProtocolBuffers/ProtocolBuffers.h works around this issue..

    @marvinthepa See my notes where I mention exactly this problem
    Martin Sander
    @marvinthepa
    Ah, "Actually I had to correct include path to make it compile" - I did not interpret that correctly
    where can I correct the include path?
    Sorry for my stupid questions
    Martin Sander
    @marvinthepa
    Thanks @akatasonov . Now I have the (other) same problem as you had - the app just hangs when verifying the code sent by SMS

    @marvinthepa
    @FredericJacobs it seems that while Version 2.2 is on the app store, the source code is not available (yet) on github - at least there is no tag. Is that on purpose or accidental?

    @corbett @FredericJacobs Um, all of my Signal contacts have new fingerprints. What's going on? Is this supposed to happen?
    I'm using 2.2

    @taoeffect
    @samlanning why is Whisper Systems having its users send Signal-related support questions in the clear?

    any one help me got this error 'The sandbox is not in sync with the Podfile.lock. Run 'pod install' or update your CocoaPods installation' as i have multiple times updated 'pod install' and update.
    With stack overflow reference I have removed libpod.a file and pod.xcodeproj and ran 'pod install' again. This time pod files created but libpod.a and pod.xcodeproj are missing/not created itself. It would be great somebody enlighten me as I am new to this framework...

    @rajeshm20 I actually had this problem and I don’t remember how I fixed it. Let me check for you.
    I tried using brew to install python first
    then I did pod update

    Hi, I've following question:
    How can I run Signal on iOS from the simulator? How can I skip the registration and verifikation?
    Ronny
    @big-r81
    Can someone help with my last question?
    Mike Okner
    @mikeokner
    Yes you can run it from the Simulator. You can't skip the verification, though, AFAIK.

    @big-r81
    ok, if i register my phone number again (simulator or test install on the phone from xcode), can i use the official app on the phone normally or do i get problems with the second registration in the simulator?

    Hi
    I'm working on adding feature: choose notification sound to play on iOS
    Feature already exists on Android
    I have working code in simulator
    Trying to run on iPhone itself, having code signing issue
    *issues
    Wondering if anyone can help
    Andrew Katasonov
    @akatasonov
    @boompig You have to create your own code signing certificate to make it work on your iPhone

    How to raise your own server for the Signal?
    nandor690
    @nandor690
    which version of Xcode are you using? You don't need a dev account. just make up a provisioning profile. It only last 3 months on non dev account tho
