I use Home Assistant, and was looking into something like that, but written in net core, so I can put my skills in use to extend it. Ths issue I see with Wirehome right now, is that it supports just a few things (totally understandable if its just one person developing it). I thought that if there is a way to create a bridge between WireHome core and Home Assistant "platforms" you get thousands of integrations for free.. I would jump to help in Wirehome.core if that were the case! lol
From what I see I can say it should be possible to adopt. The question is which services are existing and needs to be wrapped before injection. Do you already have something running in HA we can test with?
I do have an HA instance. How can I help you to test it? (As a heads up, It cant be during this weekend as I wont be home)
Don't worry. I also don'T have much time at the moment. The first thing I need to know if it is possible to "run" sich an extension. When these are adopted I assume that we need to load and execute the python scripts (which is fairly easy). But the problem is the dependency to HA internals. So my strategy (for the first try) is to build a python script which calls the HA plugin and tries to simulate the dependencies properly. Are you familiar with Python?
