    😂🤣 Better yet... who has the largest UnusuableNodesXXX.xml file?
    Jose Columbie
    @jjcolumb

    @Paramethod
    Sorry I meant in file size... who has the most deficient nodes?
    Dennis
    @dengara_gitlab
    @noxe , to our recent talk :-P

    6+ years ago I asked for this:
    image.png
    And Dennis gracefully told me how it was important to look at the UnusuableNodes files and fix the problems. Ever since, I tried to fix them immediately, so I can say I have zero of those files in my projects.
    Dennis
    @dengara_gitlab
    That is great, Alex. Having these files just hides problems under the rug
    btw, who has more than 300 properties in a business class?)
    noxe
    @noxe
    @dengara_gitlab OMG 😜
    are you serious guys
    having unusable nodes will trigger and big red warninglight in the office
    having unusable node will indicate someething is wrong and needs to be fixed ASAP
    we always have our model in an clean state ;)

    rofl ;)
    Jose Columbie
    @jjcolumb
    this should be added under best practices, I bet most XAFers don't do this
    noxe
    @noxe
    true - or some kind of c# analyzer - which generates an build error ;)
    Alex Miller
    @Paramethod
    Abort build on unusuableNode file presence or something
    Dennis
    @dengara_gitlab

    true - or some kind of c# analyzer - which generates an build error ;)

    Somebody has looked at my roadmap docs:-P

    Alex Miller
    @Paramethod

    amazing 😎

    while we are at - we nearly completed migration to net5.0 - first benchmarks shows 15% - 20% performance plus
    🤞🤞
    Dennis
    @dengara_gitlab
    Cool! Thank you for the update, especially in the light of XAF v21.1 plans to migrate the modules to .NET 5 by default (.NET Framework will be unaffected).
    noxe
    @noxe
    sounds good - hopefully you do the move. i did some very small basic benchamrks with https://github.com/dotnet/BenchmarkDotNet - and the basic tests constantly showed the difference
    Dennis
    @dengara_gitlab
    yeah...me too...as always, we fear breaking changes and have to be slow with such things.
    .NET Core 3.1 is LTS, so this move is already an exception just because of .NET 5, Blazor, etc. I hope that most customers support this in the upcoming roadmap survey...
    noxe
    @noxe
    Sure - fully understand - while i would not understand why anyboady would stand on 3.1 - even if it is LTS :)
    Jose Columbie
    @jjcolumb
    We will. That will also allow us to use CSS isolation in our custom Razor components
    Dennis
    @dengara_gitlab
    you may not believe it, but many people still use Visual Studio 2017, etc. Different companies have corporate rules, release pace, etc. Thanks for your support anyway.
    noxe
    @noxe
    sure - understand, one would usually tend to forget such corporate rules
    but we also have one employee which is still on Win8 and VS2017 😂
    he does not want to move to Win10 and VS2019
    @biohazard999 - your Xenial.FeatureCenter is incredible - great work!!
    Dennis
    @dengara_gitlab

    @noxe thanks! Couple of days to Go :)
