hi all, very excited about this project and very eager to help/learn if that would be okay. if not i'll just be very respectful and quiet and try to learn that way.

Ask questions, learn away ;)
@ZaneDubya nice, commenting is mostly pointless ;) I actually don't read comments in code to be honest. C# is verbose enough most of the time. Code comments it self unless its uterly complex, in which case it can usually be re-written to be less complex :)

okay well, thank you so much jeff really appreciate it. ^^
then my first question is, now that i have visual studio 2010 and 2013, xna for 2010 and 2013, the repository for ultimaxna, and then have opened ultimaxna within visual studio 2013, hit "start" and then begun the compiling process, I only get 1 error and warning. Specifically, UltimaXNA.exe could not be found. I know this is a beginner's question and I'm sorry for asking it but I read the readme several times now and I realize the answer is probably obvious but I can't seem to figure it out so I can get started being of assistance.
nevermind got it

@naggie Same here! I've been a mac guy since 2007, but have not gone a day without running Windows (first XP, then 7, now 10) on Parallels.

I'm not too happy with how w8 is so integrated -- well, dependent -- on the cloud

Zane, just a heads up, if you ever decide to move to Paradox3d, it will be .Net 4.5.1, which will not allow XP users to use it :(
I gotta remember to use @ZaneDubya

@jeffboulanger you can count on me checking in regularly. At least until the shine wears off
First google result for 'os market share' says XP is still at 15%. http://www.netmarketshare.com/operating-system-market-share.aspx?qprid=10&qpcustomd=0
Of course, by the time UltimaXNA is done, everyone will be on Windows 11 and Mac OS Hearst Castle.
Speaking of which, WWDC is today! I wonder what they're announcing...

Just hit 1000 commits! Naggie, Greed, the latest PR fixes a bug with mouse settings - if you are having trouble clicking on objects, update to the latest codebase, delete your settings.cfg file, and give it another go.

I'm merging a new audio service, which is responsible for playing all sounds and music. With a single audio provider, we can better manage threaded data loading (which I'll get around to - eventually!) and volume control (necessary for #167).
