Yes, i dont see how, it just would have blocked the Network callback till you were done processing the packets
I doubt you would lose them, they would just get backed up, just inefficient.

I monitor the .net repos cause of my job, and noticed it.
ive yet to contribute to dotnet, i dont like to work for free :)
Microsoft is so smart in open sourcing it and putting out an invitation to have people help them close the gap on what is missing.
