    @krauthaufen
    yep
    Evgeniy Andreev
    @gsomix
    @krauthaufen btw is show { ... } prefered way for showing scene?
    examples in docs use low-level API with manual creation of app, window, etc
    Harald Steinlechner
    @haraldsteinlechner
    yes but for beginners show might be alienating. hello world examples should be low level imo
    Evgeniy Andreev
    @gsomix
    I see
    at least we can document both ways
    Evgeniy Andreev
    @gsomix

    I've updated PR and wiki a bit, so for now it's ready to merge @haraldsteinlechner

    aardvark-platform/aardvark.docs#22

    about .NET Core template. I'd prefer to have two separate templates: plain rendering app and UI app
    with parametrized backed

    I've created little experimental template for UI, please take a look
    https://github.com/gsomix/aardvark.template.ui

    @krauthaufen
    hey, cool that you're creating all these things. I'll look at it when i have decent internet again.
    Evgeniy Andreev
    @gsomix
    @krauthaufen thanks!
    OK, I need to get back to OpenGL study :)
    Harald Steinlechner
    @haraldsteinlechner
    awesome1
    Harald Steinlechner
    @haraldsteinlechner
    the template effort indeed looks cool
    however i get. Unhandled Exception: System.IO.FileLoadException: Could not load file or assembly 'FSharp.Core, Version=4.6.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a'. this is most likely due to a package downgrade

    this came from visual studio. when i compile using dotnet build i get a lot of warnings but it seems to work
    yep. external build is ok. building from inside of visual studio breaks the build. somebody seen such behaviour?
    Evgeniy Andreev
    @gsomix
    @haraldsteinlechner I'll take a look at evening. Didn't
    I didn't try build from VS. :)
    Mobile web gitter is crap :D
    Harald Steinlechner
    @haraldsteinlechner
    jop
    it seems to be a problem with my setup -> not template related
    Evgeniy Andreev
    @gsomix
    @haraldsteinlechner thanks for the review and merge
    Harald Steinlechner
    @haraldsteinlechner
    thanks for the awesome contributions
    Harald Steinlechner
    @haraldsteinlechner
    fshade seems not to build but there is a package
    i wonder how this could be built
    maybe a fix without commit.
    i get exactly those errors
    Evgeniy Andreev
    @gsomix
    the same
    I need separate folder for all aardvark projects
    Harald Steinlechner
    @haraldsteinlechner
    what do you mean?
    does somebody recognize the problems in fshade? i suspect is is a new f# compiler service version
    Evgeniy Andreev
    @gsomix
    @haraldsteinlechner it seems namespaces are different now
    without Microsoft prefix
    it might be RFC somewhere, I'm not sure
    Harald Steinlechner
    @haraldsteinlechner
    and this is the last media build problem: https://travis-ci.org/aardvark-platform/aardvark.media/builds/567925064 i suspect there is a too old f# compiler to understand inref arguments which seems totally legit - i also don't know what this should be lol
    wow thank you
    Evgeniy Andreev
    @gsomix
    @haraldsteinlechner I mean there are a lot of projects in aardvark-platform, I need to create dedicated folder and clone 'em all! :)
    Harald Steinlechner
    @haraldsteinlechner
    so. i just fixed fshade: krauthaufen/FShade@36fb4ee
    still i find it strange that there is a package with this codebase and it was no problem then
    Harald Steinlechner
    @haraldsteinlechner
    ok. with this aardvark-platform/aardvark.media#24 all should finally go back to green
    also the travis build of FShade should work now (there was temp downtime of a package server)
    Evgeniy Andreev
    @gsomix
    cool!
    Harald Steinlechner
    @haraldsteinlechner
    here is the status matrix....
