    Nico May
    @NicoM1
    which I thought we had but then came ios
    Nico May
    @NicoM1
    @fponticelli I'm still just getting the default "cannot GET /asdfa/asdfasdf"
    Franco Ponticelli
    @fponticelli
    what error do you trace in your handler?
    Nico May
    @NicoM1
    I don't, I just serve a 404 page
    Franco Ponticelli
    @fponticelli
    yes, but you can add trace(err); at the very beginning of handle(), if that is not printed then you know that you handler is not used :)
    Nico May
    @NicoM1
    doesn't seem to be triggering
    Nico May
    @NicoM1
    btw I still need to sort out the 404
    Franco Ponticelli
    @fponticelli
    without a look at the code it is really hard to help
    Nico May
    @NicoM1
    ok so I cut out a bunch of the API but this should still show the structure: https://gist.github.com/NicoM1/8dd8d25184b2369f0582
    Franco Ponticelli
    @fponticelli
    where is the handler?
    also are you propagating the error in index/top? it looks like if something goes wrong in there no response will ever be sent
    Franco Ponticelli
    @fponticelli
    oh ... the gist is cropped here
    Franco Ponticelli
    @fponticelli
    I think I spotted the error and it is my fault. use should be applied directly to app and not to app.router
    Franco Ponticelli
    @fponticelli
    made a few changes and made a release. try to use app.error()
    Nico May
    @NicoM1
    ok I will later, thanks(:
    Nico May
    @NicoM1
    probably need git thx but: C:\HaxeToolkit\haxe\lib\abe/git/src/abe/core/filters/ObjectFilter.hx:19: characters 14-51 : thx.QueryString has no field toObject (Suggestion: object)
    yeah git worked
    Nico May
    @NicoM1
    hmm, ok I have a call to both app.error and app.use and neither is tracing an error nor serving my 404 page
    Franco Ponticelli
    @fponticelli
    ok, I have to release thx and add some tests for your use case
    Nico May
    @NicoM1
    ok
    Franco Ponticelli
    @fponticelli
    @NicoM1 I got the error thing figured out if you have the time
    Nico May
    @NicoM1
    I don't currently, what time zone are you in?
    Franco Ponticelli
    @fponticelli
    Mountain Time ... -7
    Nico May
    @NicoM1
    Hmm idk when I'll be around I work a lot, I'll try to sort it out
    Franco Ponticelli
    @fponticelli
    this is the test case that covers it: https://github.com/abedev/abe/blob/master/test/TestError.hx
    not super clear :)
    Nico May
    @NicoM1
    Hrmm yeah looks kinda complex, wish we had better overlap to discuss
    Franco Ponticelli
    @fponticelli
    it is quite simple actually
    your error handler is fine as it is
    and you just need app.router.use(handler) to generate a 404
    notice that there is no path in that use as it needs to work as a catch all
    and it goes just before app.router.error
    Nico May
    @NicoM1
    I will look later, thought that's what ihad, back to work gtg byw
    Bye
    Franco Ponticelli
    @fponticelli
    ;)
    ok I don't even understand how it works but I copied enough random things from that Test that the 404 now works
    Jonas Nyström
    @cambiata
    Hi Franco! Is the Sequelize wrapper ready to rock?
    Michael Martin-Smucker
    @mlms13
    hey @cambiata we've been using the sequelize extern in production for several months. it generally seems to get the job done
    Franco Ponticelli
    @fponticelli
    @cambiata good to hear from you. As Michael said they definitely are good enough. One might object that using an ORM might not be a good idea in the first place :)
    are you planning to go to the next WWX?
    Marcelo Serpa
    @fullofcaffeine
    sequelize looks interesting
    @fponticelli Are there externs for it?
    Franco Ponticelli
    @fponticelli
    @fullofcaffeine yes, in the npm project: https://github.com/abedev/npm/blob/master/src/npm/Sequelize.hx
    Franco Ponticelli
    @fponticelli
    @fullofcaffeine we rely on sequelize heavily but to be honest I don't like any of the orm solutions out there ... I just want typed queries that return typed haxe objects
    there is a project idea there but it is probably not an easy one
    Marcelo Serpa
    @fullofcaffeine
    nice, thanks
    Franco Ponticelli
    @fponticelli
    no problem

    Question: Using only those gateway credentials provided by Authorized.net, and 'Node.js SDK for Authorize.net payment gateway,' there is no other platform necessary to complete an online credit card transaction?

    @fponticelli
    @ltc-hotspot not sure I understand but it looks like you are right
