Are you guys using VirtualBox 4.x or 5.x? The SDK told me 5.x might be not great so I went with 4.x. Is it a true warning?
I'm also getting about 16 warnings for ignoring/overriding commands for various targets, is that normal or have I broken it already.

I think it's 5, can't recall exact version but the one used in arch by default works well with no complains

I went for 4 as well on that advice. Seems to work well. Those warning are normal too - we inherited those.
Are you having fun? You could build it for i486 and your spiffy new case...

ha, snap. I'll stick to the phone for now. Going to have to start tracking down all the information I want from Sailfish, that probably won't be fun.

btw just fyi am at home now and can confirm vbox is 5.0.16. Ignoring warns I've removed in gecko commit so if we go for it - we get rid of those. that's basically about overlapping rules with default targets.
although they maybe be default for qtc and be empty in pure qmake, need to try that option

Ah yes sorry, I will have a look at the gecko branch next chance I get. Would you say it was stable and sensible?
@cgfrost have a look in the harbour-systemmonitor app on github. i think i forked it when i did the battery fix. That might be fetching a lot of the information you want.

Well, yes. But so far we got just one report (not counting me) and I still didn't explore all the options, so no rush :)
I.e. I don't like non-boostable startup, and sailfish-browser is boostable, so until i confirm this is due to re-implementation of the chrome view window - i'm trying to boost it

Ok that makes sense. I think I might have a go at preset message responses next then. That's something quite visible and useful that no-one's done outside of the official apps. I'll do it with a config file first, and the UI can come after again.
Would be good to pass the default messages through translation. Might be good to think of some more actions we could offer instead of just replies. Calling back maybe.

what are those messages? Is it about those pbl localisation packages?

There seems to be an action sub-menu going on there, with 'emoji'. Trying to find out more...

Ah you've reminded me that I should do the language files. That's really needed.
