same crash i was getting with time_t. is there a problem with QString.arg() and ints??

Where did you find it? There could be such problem if int is 0 i think, as it cannot then understand how to convert 0 into something meaningful, and just assumes it as null. so this sendSimpleNotif is the one which app is trying to send? I never checked that part, need to make an app which uses that first :)

i gave up and switch it to ""+"" instead. no idea what's going on there
i use a watchface called '7 segment'. that has a weather component, and sends one of those notifications every time it refreshes it

ok, but basically you just need to ensure id field is unique for each message, so you can even put date in text format, as long as it has low enough resolution (seconds should be ok).

i think the QString.arg method is only really necessary when the strings are going off for translation anyway. The end result is the same.
Now I just have to figure out why I have no calendar entries... :)

I normally don't have calendar entries but luckily when I implemented that one of my relatives had a birthday which was reflected as all-day event in the calendar :) so i got it tested on that one. Now i have another one entering timeline window tomorrow, so will have another opportunity to test
I do have TODOs though, but they are not supported by jolla (am using CalDAV). So i'm thinking to add vtodos to the calendar export. So I'll see them at least on watch. Unless they are filtered out by extendedcalendar wrapper.
