well it's not been sold since the beginning of the year, and it coming up for three years old. it's had a good run. what jolla need to do is make some other phone available to us in Europe in sufficient quantities for all the Jolla1 owners to get one.
i thought jolla gave up doing hw and focuses on SW? currently afaik there're several inflight projects like puzzle and turing in europe

personally i think we need a cheap sailfish phone that people can get as a secondary plaything. the jolla1 was too expensive for the raspberry pi hackers
aqua fish could have been a good middleground - a hundred bucks phone is not a big deal, you can spend more in the restaurant.
