Ok, I've switched to WebView - but nothing changed. same invisible rendering and broken geometry. Looking in the source code of the webview implementation - it doesn't differ from my implementation in rockpool. Did they actually test that widget? To me it looks like neverworked. Also I suspect it has something to do with gl context. because even when page is not rendered - it still reacts to all controls - so layout is there, just canvas is missing.
I also see in their implementation some attempt to practice dark magic by manipulating active attribure and page/view reassignment...

Hmm no haven't noticed poorer bluetooth. There's a switch to bluez5 in progress though, so it could be related.
I haven't tried it on the Jolla
Widget is currently replacing account signin and html email view, so it's tested. Maybe not in 2.0.5 though.
There was a new firmware on my watch. Something abo
ut timezones.

I only saw heart-rate-zones in the release notes
timezone in pebble is always UTC, it's app which converting it into localtime
walking through commits and I see there are some notes about gl context lock and introduced new mutexes, maybe that's what breaking it in the rockpool. perhaps some missing logical hook from app to gecko's gl. cannot find anything like that yet. except that active property and view reassignment. something should be at that area

Mine's a pebble 1, which hasn't had a new firmware in ages. It only mentioned the timezone adjustments.

ah right, there's localtime mode but i thought it's only for legacy 2.x firmware, so i never payed attention to support it, always assuming pebble is gmt
so perhaps this update is indeed to enforce gmt, otherwise it'll be a mess to support it

I'll probably try to migrate my harbour's qml tt-rss app to new webview as a proof of concept, because to me it looks like utterly broken. I need to know it can work in general before I start digging deeper :)
