@SKPrairieGrrl_twitter how did you install the app, and do you get any useful errors in the browser console/terminal?

I think if it doesn’t, it’s a bug and needs to be fixed anyway

@brittanywm I think that's SCORM Cloud making some assumptions for you
you see, you can't have completed AND passed (or failed) in SCORM 1.2
that's only possible in SCORM 2004
in SCORM 1.2 you just have the one overall status (cmi.core.lesson_status) and it can only be set to one of the following:
  • not started
  • incomplete
  • completed
  • passed
  • failed
  • browsed

@moloko Thanks for the feedback. That makes sense. I was concerned that the results were differing across projects, but maybe it’s just SCORM Cloud. @taylortom @moloko Here is a screen grab of settings and varying results in SCORM Cloud if you want to take a look https://ibb.co/e3CvEF

And one more screen grab with the only difference I could spot in the SCORM Cloud debug logs https://ibb.co/nvc6Mv

@brittanywm the only thing I'd query there is the 'failed' setting for 'assessment failure status'
unless you really, really need that you're probably best leaving that set to 'incomplete'
esp. if you want the user to be able to have more than one attempt at the assessment

Thanks for the feedback @moloko. Many of our on prem customers request the Assessment failure status “failed” so we use that setting

From my testing on SCORM cloud, I am able to make multiple attempts with the “failed” setting. It’s just that initial oddity of the completion being intermittently maintained after relaunching a passed assessment and failing it.

Yeah not all LMSes will allow further attempts after a failed status has been sent

I see. We also deploy the “incomplete” variant for cusomters as well. We provide both variants, and they can choose which one to load based on their LMS needs
