Hi All -- I'm struggling with the Assessment Results plugin -- I can't get it to appear when I submit an assessment. What am I doing wrong? Can someone point me towards a working example so I can see how it's supposed to work, as well as the settings they used to get 'er done? Thanks!
can you keep questions to one channel?
good morning - does anyone have a QA best practices document for adapt framework or a QA testplan for adapt framework?
@levargs I don't think there's any documentation as part of the open source project, no
Thanks for your response Matt.
how to login in adapt framework
@Starboy-Sharma do not spam each room, read remark in authoring room
and most developers will start later as they are in the UK! so be a little patient with them
does anyone recall seeing any documentation for Notify anywhere?
As in how to use it? or how does it get called by Tutor for feedback vs questionview for MCQ? I don't.
But I was just sorting this stuff out yesterday...
Hi everybody, would anyone help me? I want this but I've found the installation so complicated. I was asked to install a Github, that I don't know what is for and three other softwares that I don't know what are for either. Please give me a hand because I really need a free and easy-to -use authoring tool that permits allows me to create contents and download and post it wherever I want. Thanks.
I just had to reinstall the adapt authoring framework (node install). I made a copy of my Adapt directory before. Once the (re)install is completed, I cannot see my course anymore. Can I copy directories from my backup onto the new directory or is there anything else I should do, or I am dead? (I have a lot of workc previously done and do not want to redo it). Thanks a million for your answer
@patrickattie1 Hi Patrick, if you did it like that, then you created a complete new instance( answering lots of questions I guess) of the AT, I managed to get my old stuff back by changing the "long" number in the config file to point to my "backup". But that was something like 2 years ago, and I do not remember exactly what I did to get it back. I am not fully up to speed with the MongoDB stuff behind it, but if I remember correct, in the install it makes a new one for it. If possible search the technical forum a bit, because I think it is also possible to point in the DB to the old stuff.
Was it not possible to do an update of the FW only?
Thank you John for taking the time to reply! At least you give me directions to look at :-)
Can we install Adapt authoring tool on windows 10
you can install it on anything that will run the prerequisites
https://www.gitbook.com/ - looks like it could a great for documentation (and much more). and it’s free for open source projects!
I have a vague memory of reviewing this a couple years back. Things develop so quickly; good to swing back and take another look. Back then a priority was allowing the community to create and edit pages. Does this allow that? My read is that it doesn’t. Looks like you have to be assigned permissions to do that. Perhaps that’s no longer a priority?? Or it can be managed in a loose manner?

Not entirely sure that's still a priority since the only edits we've had from the community have been people setting up blank pages that say little other than 'ola'...!
but anyway it does say 'you can sync your docs with github' which suggests to me that anyone with a GH account would be able to make some form of edit
