    Hey @cshawaus - I was trying to update the styleguide project in AEM Design for the colours and was wondering if this was the source of truth or this is generated?
    https://github.com/aem-design/aemdesign-aem-support/blob/cab46248e00cd195b0c926aa0f0f14dd07ee69c6/aemdesign-aem-compose/source/styleguide/html/colours.html

    @cshawaus
    Hey, the content for that page is generated using https://github.com/aem-design/aemdesign-aem-support/blob/task/road-to-v3/aemdesign-aem-compose/support/scripts/content-generators/colours.js. The idea is to ensure the source of truth is code driven to prevent weird issues during deployments where content can get out of sync with the CSS
    In V3 this process changed a fair bit but the concept is roughly the same

    yeah sweet. makes sense. thanks mate! 👌

    @ghost~5f1a78c6d73408ce4fea6973
    So just on that, where does the SCSS/CSS get generated from that script?
    Ghost
    @ghost~5f1a78c6d73408ce4fea6973
    That colours.js script only generates the HTML markup. What about the SCSS/CSS? Do we have 2 places we have to update?

    I messed around with Playright + Jest tonight and the results are insanely good. Not only is Jest faster than Groovy in every regard but the API is smaller, easier to digest and is fluent enough that BED’s can jump on board without much of a learning curve. This is also working using Jest projects which also integrates Vue 3 testing too allowing for completely integrated test environments that are easy to maintain.

    @cshawaus any reason why "aemdesign-compose -p --project core --maven --no-color --fix" does not update the SCSS? Trying to use "--fix"

    Hi, I am new in docker and AEM, I tried running the latest aem docker file, but it did not fire anything on the browser, am I missing something here? where do I check the logs? I checked the access.log it's empty
    Max Barrass
    @wildone
    docker does not fire the broser you need to open it your self
    you can type followign
    docker log -tf author65
    into command line and you will see the logs, change "author65" to your container name
    once you start the docker command you can just open the browser on the port you have specified

    Hello :). I found your project https://github.com/aem-design/docker-aem (it's awesome btw, thanks for your work). I want to use it to bootstrap local environments and maybe event higher environments as well. I used the following docker-compose.yml:

    version: "3.9"

    services:
      aem:
        image: aemdesign/aem:6.5.1.0
        ports:
          - "4502:8080"
          - "30303:58242"
        volumes:
          - ./repository:/aem/crx-quickstart/repository
          - ./logs:/aem/crx-quickstart/logs
          - ./license.properties:/aem/license.properties
        environment:
          - AEM_RUNMODE=-Dsling.run.modes=author,crx3,crx3tar,dev
          - AEM_JVM_OPTS=-server -Xms1024m -Xmx8128m -XX:MaxDirectMemorySize=1024M -XX:+CMSClassUnloadingEnabled -Djava.awt.headless=true -Dorg.apache.felix.http.host=0.0.0.0 -Xdebug -Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,server=y,address=58242,suspend=n

    When using 6.5.1.0 everything is fine. However, when I tried either 6.5.1.0-bundle or 6.5.1.0-bundle-forms I'm not able to access basic AEM features. All bundles are up and active. In package manager, I can see a lot of packages that have an active "install" button. The start.html looks like this:

    obraz.png
    (only tools available). Do you have any idea what can be wrong?
    I'm on mac, resources for docker look like following

    hey @devzbysiu thanks for connecting
    let me check
    Max Barrass
    @wildone
    @devzbysiu i used this command
    docker run --name author651 -e "TZ=Australia/Sydney" -e "AEM_RUNMODE=-Dsling.run.modes=author,crx3,crx3tar,dev" -e "AEM_JVM_OPTS=-server -Xms248m -Xmx1524m -XX:MaxDirectMemorySize=256M -XX:+CMSClassUnloadingEnabled -Djava.awt.headless=true -Dorg.apache.felix.http.host=0.0.0.0 -Xdebug -Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,server=y,address=58242,suspend=n" -p4575:8080 -d -p30374:58242 aemdesign/aem:6.5.1.0
    and there are packages that have not go installed
    Giving erros
    Error: javax.jcr.nodetype.ConstraintViolationException: OakConstraint0025: /var/workflow/models[[nt:folder]]: Unexpected child node request_for_deletion_without_deactivation found in a new node etc
    will try 6.5.1.0 see if has errors
    chrisbotor
    @chrisbotor
    a newbie question, will it work on a docker desktop on windows, every time I tried running the command docker run --name author -e "AEM_RUNMODE=-Dsling.run.modes=author,crx3,crx3tar,dev" -p4502:8080 -d -p30303:58242 -d aemdesign/aem I don't see any output
    Max Barrass
    @wildone
    try this command
    docker run --name author655 -e "TZ=Australia/Sydney" -e "AEM_RUNMODE=-Dsling.run.modes=author,crx3,crx3tar,forms,localdev" -e "AEM_JVM_OPTS=-server -Xms248m -Xmx1524m -XX:MaxDirectMemorySize=256M -XX:+CMSClassUnloadingEnabled -Djava.awt.headless=true -Dorg.apache.felix.http.host=0.0.0.0 -Xdebug -Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,server=y,address=58242,suspend=n -XX:+UseParallelGC --add-opens=java.desktop/com.sun.imageio.plugins.jpeg=ALL-UNNAMED --add-opens=java.base/sun.net.www.protocol.jrt=ALL-UNNAMED --add-opens=java.naming/javax.naming.spi=ALL-UNNAMED --add-opens=java.xml/com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.dom=ALL-UNNAMED --add-opens=java.base/java.lang=ALL-UNNAMED --add-opens=java.base/jdk.internal.loader=ALL-UNNAMED --add-opens=java.base/java.net=ALL-UNNAMED -Dnashorn.args=--no-deprecation-warning" -p4502:8080 -p30303:58242 -d aemdesign/aem:6.5.5.0-jdk11
    its on the blog as well
