Anyone knows how to test a ternary operator using Jest? Ex…
return (
    <div onClick={toggleCtrl.setOpen}>Toggle</div>
    { !isOpen ? <h1>Hide</h1> : <h1>Show</h1> }
Jordan Harband
@shakdaniel has nothing to do with jest. have one test with isOpen truthy, and another with it falsy.

I get NaN rather then 0.00 when i add tax and fee what can be the issue?

Its in my retail app

fee={this.props.cart.fee === undefined ? '0.00' : this.props.cart.fee}
can it something related to this statement?
Jordan Harband
i see a string and presumably a number
set it to 0, not ‘0.00’
I’m struggling with edit-card function, and I hope you can help. If I pressed edit icon for any card, it shows the info of the last card added in firebase not the info of the selected card.
$(document).on("click", ".edit", function(){
          var value = $("#project44").val();
          var valuename = $(this).parents("div").parents("div").parents("div").find("#nameofkey").html();
          var valuedes = $(this).parents("div").parents("div").parents("div").find("#desofkey").html();
           var valuelest = $(this).parents("div").parents("div").parents("div").find("#desofkey").html();

Hello all, I'm trying to use the Airbnb eslint config and I'm getting an error
SyntaxError: intrinsic %Symbol.species% does not exist!
References from: node_modules/eslint-config-airbnb-base/index.js
Jordan Harband
any longer stack trace?
that error should only happen if you’re using a very old node tho. What version?
Kushagra Varade

I am very general problem in displaying a list in js and it seems the performance of the page gets disturb even if the list is rendered

My problem:
I have to display list that has 500+ rows and then perform search for all the rendered data.

Looking for something were I can render large data in list efficently with minimal JS work. Any leads to this (Without pagination)

Jordan Harband
why would you need to display 500 rows? a human can't see that many at once
Kushagra Varade
@tanhauhau I agree with you all 500 rows won't be visible at once. What is the solution that you are suggesting, Infinte scroll??
Or add and remove the already rendered node from DOM
Jordan Harband
no idea who that person is
but not infinite scroll; more, only render the elements the user can see at the moment. see https://npmjs.com/react-virtualized
Kushagra Varade

@ljharb Thanks

The person who want to see server logs In UI, I guess they are my auidence

Guys I could really use some help
I have a Javascript issue
I think I know two ways to achieve what I need to, but I can't get either one to work
Basically put, I have a button that I need to 'on click"
