Only if the shards are allocated during rollback, that only happens if they get a request exactly then or you are using remember entities.

seeing a lot of IOException: Error accessing /home/travis/.ivy2/cache/com.typesafe.akka/akka-actor_2.13/jars/akka-actor_2.13-2.5.27.jar on travis - throwing away the cache.

I either found a bug on the docs or the code for Akka Typed supervision: https://github.com/jlprat/Akka-Lunch-and-Learn-Sessions/blob/master/src/test/scala/io.github.jlprat.akka.lnl/supervision/InitializationTest.scala#L58 fails given this Behavior: https://github.com/jlprat/Akka-Lunch-and-Learn-Sessions/blob/master/src/main/scala/io.github.jlprat.akka.lnl/supervision/typed/Initialization.scala#L62
And according to https://doc.akka.io/docs/akka/current/typed/fault-tolerance.html#child-actors-are-stopped-when-parent-is-restarting I'd say that the setup block should be re-executed on restart. Am I doing something wrong? or did I stumble upon a bug?

I suspect that is due to the use of Synchronous testkit instead of the asynchronous. If this would be the case, I would argue this is a bug (or missing functionality) with the synchronous testkit.

so, apparently the Synchronous testkit doesn't really work nice with supervision, is this a known limitation?

hey! what's the current recommended process for importing alpakka-kafka into intellj? Tried a bunch of different things, best i can get still shows some compile errors on intra-project dependencies, though sbt/intelli shows a successful build

@jyates: Hi! I think most of us use intellij as an editor, and do compiling/testing from sbt.

that said, opening the project and running e.g. ConnectionCheckerSpec does seem to work for me

jdk11, 2020.3 community edition, scala plugin version 2020.3.17, on linux... not sure what else could be relevant
