@Silv3rcircl3 Ok, so I got most of the text and pictures. Ill work on finishing that up tonight.
I can do a PR without the code samples. Because honestly i dont think ill be able to work on that. My head feels like a melon.
But that at least allows someone else to fill in the samples.
And wont let the work i've done sofar gone to waste
maybe ill be able to do them myself in the next few days. But it depends :P

hehe as you wish, I could also pick your changes from your branch and continue from there
@cconstantin any reason why you added auto package update to the reactive streams build script
?

@Silv3rcircl3 i didn't realize I added autoupdate
this for example automatically updates NUnit to the latest version if I run the build script
Chris Constantin
@cconstantin
Jun 27 2016 13:44
Right. I just copied the script from akka. Is it a problem though?

mh I only can find the restore command in the akka build script but no update
not a problem directly but I would prefer to set a fixed version for the dependencies because otherwise any one who is using the tck also needs to use the latest version of nunit
also if you don't run the build locally and push the changes the build maybe fails because of some package updates
Arjen Smits
@Danthar

any one who is using the tck also needs to use the latest version of nunit

Not true. The build script (at least the Akka one) uses a local instance of nuget, the global nuget is not used.

Are you sure?
Arjen Smits
@Danthar
Jun 27 2016 14:03
you can see that it has its own nuget.exe
that is the exe thats being used.
Marc Piechura
@marcpiechura
Jun 27 2016 14:03
yeah the exe is not a problem :)
I mean the installed packages
Arjen Smits
@Danthar
Jun 27 2016 14:04
thats a different problem from the restore
uh
update
Marc Piechura
@marcpiechura
Jun 27 2016 14:04
yep, and the akka build doesn't update the installed packages but the reactive streams one does
Arjen Smits
@Danthar
Jun 27 2016 14:05
yes your right. We only do an update -self afaik
Marc Piechura
@marcpiechura
Jun 27 2016 14:06
yep that only updates the exe itself
Arjen Smits
@Danthar
Jun 27 2016 14:08
yup
Chris Constantin
@cconstantin
Jun 27 2016 14:23
That's what I thought, only updates nuget
Marc Piechura
@marcpiechura
Jun 27 2016 14:41
@cconstantin so it's ok for you if I disable it?
Chris Constantin
@cconstantin
