Nevermind, I figured it out. I was missing rootActorSystem.WhenTerminated.Wait(); at the end of the code... :)

rootActorSystem.WhenTerminated.Wait() is to wait for a clean shutdown. The shutdown should be after Console.ReadLine():

@amichel to have aroundsend it's logicaly not possible, because even from inside an actor, it is communicating over an IActorRef. The IActorRef is context-free and threadsafe and so it can be used anywhere, even outside an actor/system

hi all, does anyone know if Akka.Quartz.Actor is available on .netcore?
what I mean is, is it v 1.3 compliant?
