I run my console application as a service in linux, what is the best practice to halt my system from terminating? (because Console.Read / ReadLine isn't works)
(I'm using Thread.Sleep within an infinite loop for now)

@stijnherreman Correct, you need to use that dispatcher... IIRC there was some helper HOCON in the source somewhere to do just that

@MiiMeldon An actor has a mailbox. An IActorRef is nothing more then an pointer abstraction to that actor. Its not the instance of the actor itself. Its just something that contains the address of the actor (so it knows where to send its messages to), and knows how to use the transport abstraction of the actorsystem to communicate with the actor at the other end of that address.

So inject that config in your TestKit constructor to configure Akka to work with the AwaitableTaskDispatcher
