Do you think it is a good idea to wrap actors inside classes so that from outside they can be used in a more strongly typed manner.

Akkling also offers typed actors

I have to use C#.
Also the doc you post is applicable for akka.net too?
or just akka

@OnurGumus @vasily-kirichenko nop Akka typed isn’t ported yet, there is more behind it than “just“ typed actors

@Aaronontheweb I found a pretty nasty bug in the distributed pub/sub system, I’m working on a PR now

@OnurGumus I made a simple wrapper in my code. I use it to "enforce" myself to make sure the actor I use in a c# constructor is a correct IActorRef, I don't see any issue, as the ref is just a pointer to someplace in memory. What is your issue in wrapping the IActorRef?
public class ActorRefFor<T>
{
    public ActorRefFor(IActorRef actorRef)
    {
        ActorRef = actorRef;
    }

    public IActorRef ActorRef { get; }
}

Hey guys, is there any way a PersistentActor can query it's old messages from the source, without restarting the actor?

Just found out about PersistentView, but it will be deprecated, what will come back for it? I was planning on making the actors stateful enough to check commands, but not all data that is not necessary for the views in my app itself. The PersistentView will do what I need, what is the recommended alternative to PersistentView?
