    I am Steve .. I am new to Jmeter and looking forward for your guidance.
    I was recording an script where it opens our webapplication and log-in and performs some clicks...
    but when I rerun the recorded scripts it actually throws some error where the Javascript is disabled...
    stephenren2002
    @stephenren2002
    Why the Javascript is showing as disabled when executing, though while recording I have enabled the javascript in browser

    I've downloaded the jmeter plugins 1.3,. When I attempt to access the pluing manager, I receive the message failed to load plugins, One of possible reasons is due to proxy, however, I do use any proxy,
    I do not use any proxy.
    I use the lastest version of Jmeter and Linux Mint.

    I'm having a strange issue. I have a CSV Data Set Config which the Filename is set to a variable, ${CSVFile}. This variable is defined in a User Defined Variables and is defined as ${__P(CSV_FILE,/home/mwenk/lca/loadtest/devdata.csv)} However, when I run the test I get an exception, and the operative line in the exception is "Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: File devdata.csv)} must exist and be readable"
    It's like it isn't expanding the variable...
    what's confusing me is this thing worked last night
    any ideas? :)

    I am using PerfMon Metrics Collector Listener and add it under my Sampler.I need to run it after the previous step is run already( to get the PID of the app which i need to monitor).Because I use PerfMon Metrics Collector Listener to monitor my app base on its PID, so that when this listener run at the time we run testplan, it cannot get PID( because of null).==> Is there anyway to config this PerfMon Metrics Collector Listener run after I run few samplers?

    Asking here is a bit of a long shot, but I have a question about XPath Extractor. I used Firefox DEV tools to extract an XPath expression for a dropdown item. I spent a long time wondering why it wasn't working in JMeter before I realized it works in the XPath Extractor, but not the XPath2 Extractor. The XPath2 Extractor is recommended by the documentation for a number of reasons, including performance. Does anyone who knows XPath know how the syntax changed between 1.0 and 2.0 to make this expression invalid?

    //*[@id='loginForm:roleSelect']/option[text() = 'superuser']/@value

    I did Google this, but short of "learn both versions of XPath by reading the spec", I could't find a page explaining the differences between 1.0 and 2.0 syntax.

    Hi All... I'm kinda new to Jmeter, and am struggling with the While Controller.... I have my condition set to:

    ${__javascript(${populating} == "true"):}

    and at the end of my while block, I have a beanshell postprocessor that looks like:

    String sts = vars.get("status");
    log.info("status = '" + sts + "'");
    vars.put("populating", "" + !sts.equals("POPULATED"));

    When I run, I see the log.info line show POPULATING then POPULATED - but still the loop continues. I have a debug postprocessor that shows "populating" is false.... so the look should exit?! What am I getting wrong?!

    sorry thats a ; not a : at the end of my while controller....
