YOUR_APP_NAME_OPTS worked, thanks
related to basic auth support, does updating credentials in subscription endpoint via hermes-management work for you guys?

current workaround - I can recreate subscription (get details, delete and create again with changed credentials)

hmm i thought it worked fine, but you need to provide them every time you change the uri - i can double check if the change gets propagated properly

when I provide credentials them, they don't get applied for me; could be we're missing some related commits, that's why it would be nice if you can double check

related, would be nice to have a validation feature flag - globally (dis)allow creating/updating subscription without providing basic auth credentials; for backward compatibility it can be disabled by default; what do you think?

hmm, i see it as more of a specific case requirement. as such, i wonder if it could be achieved by registering custom bean validator for EndpointAddress field in your deployment, probably sth like: https://jersey.java.net/documentation/latest/bean-validation.html#d0e13383

good idea, that might work, will give it a try

besides validating that credentials are provided at all, one validation you may be interested to implement in hermes itself - check that provided password is different from ANONYMIZED_PASSWORD constant

oh, yes :D
that might be a common source of mistakes

one may get subscription details, store the json, modify just something else than endpoint - submit it, and credentials invalid
