troubleshooting a bit here on the ssh_linux. It's failing in the authorization because line 261 in ssh_linux.py is triggering. that line is messages.append('Authorization failed') so I putting in the following new lines called messages.append() containing ip_address, user, password and ssh. even though I have ssh_user and ssh_password set it's still using test + pass and ssh is returning None

hard coded this line - ssh = network.connect_ssh(ip_address, user, password) to contain my root username/password and it worked so seems it's not pulling my updated settings.py
which is this one - /home/ralph/.ralph/settings but noticed there's also one in /etc/ralph/settings but regardless both have the ssh_user/ssh_password set

AFAIR /etc/ralph/settings takes precedence if you have it, also if you define SSH_USER and SSH_PASSWORD you can also try to redefine SCAN_PLUGINS in your setttings file, although it shouldn't be needed

is there more info for DonPedro?
http://ralph.readthedocs.org/en/latest/donpedro.html
which "plugin" is it using from the GUI?
I think at our work due to puppet we're already getting python on all windows servers so I may look at making a new plugin that can take advantage of twisted and keep it pythonic within Ralph and a windows server

AFAIR (as I'm not a ralph dev) donpedro uses the API directly, not via any plugin
