in ralph 3, at /data_center/rackaccessory -> is it possible NOT to display "RackAccessory" word in every row? Instead could you add Position column in the list ? If you have 5 identical accessories in the rack you don't know which is which

yes
@damian1976 just create issue on that, but it would be great to make 1 issue for all places where this error occurs

so basically we have str method for displaying in the user interrace, and repr for debugging purposes

ok

the bug is, we used repr (debugging) as an object description, which is incorrect, we should define beautiful str methods as well

I would advice to split the string containing multiple information into separate columns. In the example above: Rack name, Accessory name, Position

In turn , at /data_center/serverroom/ the string from the column called Server room could be split into: Server room , Data Center
just a sec

well, looks good to me
what about the other objects?
damian1976
@damian1976
Sep 03 2015 10:11
What I meant was to split a single column into 2. 1/ Server Room 2/ Data Center like in other objects listiing
@szok I just noticed after yesterday multiple export/import Racks + server rooms have been imported multiple times. The rest of the objects look OK (imported once)

yeah, that makes sense

and in /data_center/rack/ I would add 3rd column 'Data Center' splitting second column 'Server room' in to 'Server room' as the 2nd column and 'DC' as the 3rd.

hey, i'm still running into issues trying to start a container via the docker installation:

root@ralph3:/tmp/ralph-ng# docker-compose run --rm web /root/init.sh
Warning: the mapping "ralph/docker/settings_local.py:/tmp/ralph-ng/src/ralph/settings/settings_local.py" in the volumes config for service "web" is ambiguous. In a future version of Docker, it will designate a "named" volume (see docker/docker#14242). To prevent unexpected behaviour, change it to "./ralph/docker/settings_local.py:/tmp/ralph-ng/src/ralph/settings/settings_local.py"
