Exam i have 2 staff, when they change some thing of asset such as : change owner of Asset A from User Mr. A to Ms. B

@tz2005 not directly at the moment
You can do it another way, though

you can convert backoffice asset to the datacenter asset using 'convert' action
or, you can stay entirely in one module (keeping things like mouse, display, keyboard separted from dc hardware) - in this case you can add warehouse as a Rack ("Warehouse for DC3") for example
the latter case is sufficient for our needs

I couldn't find that "convert" feature. stay in one module sounds like a better option
is it possible to document connection info under rack visualization or anywhere in the app? for things like.. switch port, pdu port, console port etc...

i mean it's easy to describe a patch panel but there's much more for assets like a server

Ok, i get it. You can add custom fields as well, in case of additional asset info, but it's in our development pipeline currently

might be a good idea to utilize those two vertical gray bars on the back of the cabinet for PDUs
yea customize field is good. and hoping to see some improvement under "component"
somewhere to easily document processor/RAM/HDD/RAID information

I'm somewhat confused by the whole supports section. Our suppliers have specific support on individual assets. It feels like filling in two forms for what could be a single field (in our case). We could 'abuse' the depreciation field for it but that doesn't feel right. Any thoughts?
Also, I remember seeing some example code on how to handle custom CMDB integrations but I can't seem find it anywhere anymore. I would like to look at the possibility to integrate Dell's warranty API into Ralph.

@ju5t there are only 3 fields required to add support, and there is easy shortcut from 'supports' tab on the individual asset. Are you aware of this?
