Hey guys
I'm new to grails
I have build a project using spring security and added the REST security plugin on top
I noticed that the sec: tags no longer pick up whether a user is logged in or not
I know these are probably thought as redundant in a REST application but I would still like to use them in my index.gsp to mirror who is currently logged in over the REST log in
Is this normal behaviour or have I missed something?
For clarity I have used the api/login to log in a user and this was successful
but when trying to use <sec:ifLoggedIn>
It does not recognise that a user has logged in

If I debug and use the springSecurityService to retrieve current user then this works?????
