    Hi
    I am in the meeting

    Hi
    aravindgrao
    @aravindgrao
    I have created a new Id on the producer P6 instance. I have assigned 'Portal Client operations' and 'View messages and reports' permission. But when the new user logs in and clicks on the 'messages' link , I get the message 'You dont access to any views on this page'. WHat are the explicit permission sets to be used to view, edit messages, View and take action on workitems, view tables ?
    Thanks!
    Roxane Macé
    @roxanemace
    Hi Aravin
    David has a look at your hosted instance
    and he told me that you should replace the permission messages=allow("MessageInfo"(*)) by messages=allow("Transactions"(*))
    Could you try this please?
    In fact, MessageInfo is the name of the view
    In your case, the view's name is Transactions
    aravindgrao
    @aravindgrao
    Hi Roxane
    I created a new permission set with messages=allow("Transactions"(*)), because the existing permission set is global
    I still get the same message for the new user
    Roxane Macé
    @roxanemace
    Which user are you using?
    aravindgrao
    @aravindgrao
    The new user is Ondiflo_producer at outlook.com
    Roxane Macé
    @roxanemace
    Sorry Aravind, I still see on your instance that the user has the wrong permission.

    @aravindgrao
    I created the permission set, but didnt realize I had to check it as well
    I see it now..
    Whats the permission set to view, act on workflow items?
    Roxane Macé
    @roxanemace
    You need to have the permission messages=allow('Work Items'('Assignee'='%USER.EMAIL%'))
    aravindgrao
    @aravindgrao
    Got it.. Thanks Roxane
    Roxane Macé
    @roxanemace
    I'll update very soon the documentation so you can see all the required permissions for managing messages and work items :)
    No pb!
    aravindgrao
    @aravindgrao
    That will be extremely helpful..
    Tres Bien!

    Hi, I was wondering if there is any way to call the displayNotification from the scripts service. Thanks.
    fmontaigne
    @fmontaigne
    Hi Abel
    can you give us more details on your use case ?
    Abel Costilla
    @aecostilla
    Sure we are using a custom service and have access to the P6 UI notification component via props. When the user is not using our service, example would be the /services/homepages screen. We want to be see if it is possible to access that notification component outside our service via a script, to notify the user of an update or change.
    fmontaigne
    @fmontaigne
    Ok I see
    I don't think it's possible at least for now
    there is no such control on the UI component outside a service UI
    Abel Costilla
    @aecostilla
    Okay thank you!

    Hi I am Sudhaa Gade with Ondiflo team. I downloaded the chrome extension tokenator on windows. The Tokenator chrome extension is disabled on chrome on windows and since it's not from the chrome web store , I am unable to enable it.

    https://support.google.com/chrome_webstore/answer/2811969?visit_id=636806743298953003-3446892407&p=ui_remove_non_cws_extensions&hl=en&rd=2

    Please suggest what my options are to get it to work
    SudhaaG
    @SudhaaG
    My colleague on mac did not have any issues adding the extension.just an FYI
    Roxane Macé
    @roxanemace
    Hi Sudhaa, we're working on it. We'll come back to you soon
    Choucri FAHED
    @choucrifahed
    Hi Sudhaa, indeed you can no longer install an extension not in the Store in Chrome on Windows. We are working on publishing this extension in Chrome. In the meantime there is a working around:
    1) Download the extension from https://documentation.amalto.com/platform6/master/develop-app/custom-service/api-rest/swagger-authentication/tokenator/
    2) Download and install 7Zip (https://www.7-zip.org/)
    3) Unzip the chrome-ext.crx file you downloaded (the extension file)
    4) In Chrome, go to the Extensions page (chrome://extensions) and activate the developer mode (top right corner toggle button)
    5) Click on the 'Load unpacked' button on the top left corner and select the unzipped folder. The extension should be installed successfully.
    For more information, please refer to this page: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/24577024/install-chrome-extension-not-in-the-store
    We will also update our documentation accordingly.

    @SudhaaG
    It worked thanks!

    Awesome, you're welcome

    For P6 version 5.19.0, we are not seeing workflow tasks in the swagger method definitions. Am I missing something?
    Christopher Vuong
    @vuongc
    Hi @SudhaaG, workflow tasks are a type of transactions, in this matter there is no workflow tasks endpoints. You must use the transactions endpoint to get workflow tasks.
