@/all You all can help by contributing to the issues opened. If you are interested in contributing further, here are the future objectives that we have planned:
1) Introducing retrofit in the app.
2) Changing the backend to better serve our purposes(using google spreadsheets itself for now)
3) Enhance the UI
4) Implement a login portion
Thanks @yashk2000. I setted up temple app in the studio, had issue with java but fixed it. I am an very good UI/UX designer myself and like to code the task 3) Enhance the UI. Hoping that I could also learn java and work on other android stuff too fast.
Today was a dream day for me, I think the current design of the app is not good, so i wished to update it. I coded new leyout changes and added new design, and have submitted pull request. But i saw some test called travis has failed, can someone teach me travis so that it can show passed.
@aswinshenoy you say you are comfortable with open source contributions, but you haven't heard of travis? That's really surprising.
When you send a pr, we need to ensure that you did not break the app in any way. The most obvious way to do it will be for the maintainer to download a zip of the app from your repo and run it.
But this will make a lot of work for the maintainer. So we have automated testing which is done using travis. If you broke something in the app, travis will fail and tell the cause for the error.
