User diagram is uploaded to github now- if I need to change anything around just lemme know.

@sarahka7 the diagram looks great! But we're trying to do everything as Pull Requests. In a normal project, only a small subset of the developers would have push access and everything merged into the master branch has to go through those people.

no worries. there's a lot of new things to learn
Actually this is a good opportunity to show you guys an example. We need a doc directory to hold all our diagrams and documents and stuff. I'll create the directory and move everything in there and do it as a PR that you can review

Ok got. I made a pull request (PR) and asked you to review it. You should have a github notification. If you go to the PR you can click on the "Files changed" tab and see what I did. Normally you can see code changes side by side, but in this case I only made a new directory and moved things around using the git mv command. If everything looks good to you go ahead and click the big green merge button!
got it**

Sounds good. Let me know if you have any questions about the PR process. There's lots of great articles and tutorials for git you can google.

Do we have the user stories complete? I need to put them on the Backlog
Apparently the backlog is just composed of all of the user stories..?
Just ranked

@hehe876 Did you and Christian finish the User Stories?
Anders Pitman
@anderspitman
Mar 31 2016 22:07
Ii
I just helped Christiaan do his PR. If someone can review and merge it they should be done
Re Vauls email, we might consider adding more features, like specifying a graphical interface or more complicated rules. Idk

Just merged
I'll make a feature backlog based on what user stories we have now
But it seems like we need to add more, based on what Vaul said.
So as long as we're consistent across backlog documentation and "user stories" documentation
we should be good
Once we add more user stories, I'll just update the backlog
Does that sound good?
@anderspitman Is there a naming convention for branches? I named mine my first name, but I'm sure that's not how it's usually done.
Anders Pitman

Normally you create a branch to work on a specific feature or bug, and you name it according to what it's for. So create-user-stories, fix-somethin=something, etc
I noticed that Eric did his work on a branch (great!) but he created the branch directly on my repo. I forget to tell you guys to fork the repo first
You should only ever be pushing to your account and creating merge requests from there to mine
All you have to do is click the Fork button in the upper right corner, and you'll end up with your own copy of the repo. For example see Christiaan's: https://github.com/chcschmid/dice-game

Oh ok. Have any of you tried to make an appointment with the TA?
Anders Pitman

I haven't. I'm not overly worried about it though. As long as we meet the spec they can't take points off. Their requirements are ambiguous
We probably need to include our rules (need at least 3) though
