Is it possible to create 2 separate SimpleWebRTC objects that share the same local video? In other words, I want to have 2 separate individual chats on the same screen (not a group chat), but I only want to hit the "allow access to camera" button once.

@smythey21 If the "allow access to camera" button is your only concern, you can partially alleviate that by using https. Chrome will remember that users have granted access to the camera on https delivered pages. Firefox does not have that implemented yet.

@xdumaine (cc @smythey21) actually firefox has implemented a "remember" now. It's just very well hidden in a non-default "always allow" option :-)

@xdumaine ah... yeah, the signaling protocol would need to convey that error. and others. one more reason for using jingle
@xdumaine shows how well they've hidden it :-)

@fippo I asked this before, but is it possible to use SimpleWebRTC with jingle signaling?
I'm planning to transition to that, but I'm hesitant to give up all the goodness that simplewebrtc has.
