How do you expect to set up the connection without a signaling server?

Has anyone encounter a problem where in webrtc based videochat you hear yourself in headphones on firefox but on chrome everything is ok and there is no echo ?

@xdumaine WebRTC supports setting up rooms over DataChannel that doesn't require a signaling server. Works quite well, but I see currently that its not possible to limit it.

@Cyken-Zeraux how do you expect to establish the data channel without a signaling server?

@xdumaine By using it as it is. Like I said, DataChannel by itself does not require a signaling server unless you're going outside of your local network. Within your local network it will broadcast room status and connect to each other without a server

That doesn't make any sense @Cyken-Zeraux.
How are you sharing ice candidates and SDP?
you can't set up a data channel without doing that
so you can't do it on the data channel.
You don't need a TURN server for local network data channels, but that's entirely different from the signaling server
"by using it as it is" is not an answer to "how do you expect to establish the data channel"

Yes and it uses a signaling server to establish that connection.
@Cyken-Zeraux ive been working with WebRTC for two years. Trust me. Both SimpleWebRTC and Muaz Khans library use signaling servers. They use those to exchange room information, then SDP and ice candidates, from there they can open the p2p data channel.

@xdumaine How does this work without an internet connection then? A lot of other projects use external signaling servers, but this one works to establish connections without that.

No, it doesn't.
I'm a core contributor to this project.

@xdumaine do you know when the MS plan to support H.264 in the Edge?

@xdumaine You are correct, I must have had an extra ethernet device still allowing connection or something like that. Sorry about the confusion, though it would be really great if libraries didn't include static signaling URL's internally.
