Should I assume this project is dead then?

Should I assume this project is dead then?

You should assume that this is a public chat where the Simple WebRTC fans may or may not come to talk with others. ;)

Last I checked here is not Microsoft Corp. Support Chat, you know...

@wfinken Define a Connection Reset: IP Change or just a lost connection to the netwerk and connect again with the same IP ? There some listeners witch have to react on your case:
lib.on('leftRoom', function (roomName)
lib.on('connectivityError', function (peer)
just do a reconnect to the room -> Like leave room , wait, join room, that should that work as usual

@wfinken If you have too many videos it could be a cpu/bandwidth issue as this implementation uses p2p...
It is supposed to be an one to one call

@StudioInteractive Lost connection and reconn with same ip. I will try your solutions. I appreciate it.

@arcifius I'm only using 1-1 not many in a room. It just seems the connection is unstable and I think @StudioInteractive solution will resolve this. Thanks!

BTW, you use your own signaling server, or the demo one?
The default/demo server from SWRTC is just for testing, and it is not very efficient... ;)
Do not use the default sandbox signaling server in production

Specially without proper TURN servers, the connections could be unstable. Very unstable.

I'm thinking the issue is that most of the computers I'm using it on are behind firewall/vpn tunnels.

He he! VPN and WebRTC love each other just like a cat and a dog... ;)

I've had some rooms open for over a week without issue. A couple tend to have intermittent connectivity issues.

Forget about WebRTC if you use VPN

It's working pretty well for me tbh.
I'm hosting the signal server within on the intranet.

Oh, then feel free to play with WebRTC on intranet and VPNs. ;)
All the best!
