    work
    you can see the problem https://preview.wardenscanner.com/login

    @tspaeth
    @k3v3n your provided URL to wardenscanner leads to a wordpress login. So hard to guess what goes wrong.

    Hi, There are a directive to indicate the language direction? RTL like hebrew
    Thorsten Späth
    @tspaeth
    No, there is currently no implementation in the 2.x stream - see angular-translate/angular-translate#260. It is planned for 3.x but any PR is welcome as we don't have much time to invest into research on that yet.
    Jan Philipp
    @knalli
    @ceoaliongroo No, it isn't. However, because the module only reads existing translation strings and returns them, it must not be such a thing. Speaking of switching dom attributes (like say applying another css class on DOM elements) you can listen for language changes. At the moment we do not store additional metadata (whether a language is rtl).
    ;)

    thanks @knalli i did a directivw to swiching the dom attribute using angular material, do you think, could be a good extra create some directives for switching DOM attributes for the principal css frameworks?

    Hi there! I am willing to build an angular-translate context editor similar with this one:

    http://angular-phrase-demo.herokuapp.com/
    user: demo@phraseapp.com
    pass: phrase

    but without using the phrase API.
    Instead, I would use 2 different options to generate the translation JSON

    • custom server script (node.js, python, etc)
    • use localStorage to store the translation keys, and then to generate the translation file on the fly (without going to the server)
    does anyone in the channel wants to brainstorm about this?
    Jan Philipp
    @knalli
    Feel free to provide. I'm not aware of phrase. And sorry for the delay, today's the first day..;)

    @daminufe
    this is just a grooming.. Ideally would be part of a open-source project, which we could make an inline translation editor for angular-translate

    Hello there.
    I think that I've seen in docs, that you can reference one key from the other.
    Having one key common.smth and other specific.abc.xyz that points to that common.smth instead of duplicating it.
    How can I do it?
    Thorsten Späth
    @tspaeth
    as described in the docs?
    @: as prefix as far as I remember
    Or do I understand that question wrong?
    Bartek Andrzejczak
    @bandrzejczak
    so just "specific.abc": "@:common.smth" right?
    Thorsten Späth
    @tspaeth
    should do, yes. In case you follow the namespace schemes I guess. But it might also work without namespaces -I'm not 100% sure without an example and code in front, so maybe you could try.

    I'm using ngTable with angular-translate to translate table head. But it is throwing "Error: [$rootScope:infdig]"

    <td data-title="'AUTHOR' | translate">{{w.name}}</td>, it was working well before language file separated . but its not woking now please help , Thank You!

    Thorsten Späth
    @tspaeth
    If you could up an example with plnkr.co - maybe we can see the issue. Without, it is hard to guess by saying "you have a loop somewhere" :-)
    Ravi Gupta
    @meeravi007
    yes
    but it was working when language file was not separated
    Thorsten Späth
    @tspaeth
    Again: Please provide a working, complete code example.
    or "non-working" - however :)

    When I upgrade to typescript 2.1.5 (from 1.7.5) in my Angular 1.5 application, I get this error: "Cannot set property '$translateProvider' of undefined". What do I need to include? I use Webpack 1.14.0 and ts-loader 2.0.0 to do the build.
    Jan Philipp
    @knalli
    No idea, a non-ts (so es5/es6) app works. Do you have provide exports/expose for angular global in webpack?
    Anyway: you should look WHERE the error message comes from. Only the line is meaningless.
    bluedog13
    @bluedog13
    My confusion is... it only breaks when I upgrade to typescript 2.1.5 without any other changes in the rest of the application. Has this got anything to do with TypeScript 2.1.5 changes that I need to look into?
    bluedog13
    @bluedog13
    If this helps anybody....below was my issue. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/30978743/how-can-this-be-undefined-in-the-constructor-of-an-angular-config-class. TypeScript 1.7.5 seemed to be fine with it, but not 2.1.5.

    hi guys!!! we're facing a strange issue that we cannot pin down to a root cause just yet ... it seems random ... just sometimes the translation doesn't kick in but leave behind the raw Constant-values ... like for example ... Category.Sucategory.Item ... where this should translate to "french fries" or something... I am kinda new to angular-translate and wonder if this is a known issue or something ????
    Jan Philipp
    @knalli
    No, no issue. Do you have take a look at the docs , escpecially about Fouc and translate-cloak?

    is it possible to use filters in a messageformat interpolated string? I want to format a date object using amCalendar
    Jan Philipp
    @knalli
    You can interpolate the params on your own right before.

    Hi ..
    I want to help to load locale-en-us.json file in angular-translate..
    with webpack ...
    Jan Philipp
    @knalli
    @rahulgupta20nov : angular-translate loading and webpack do not having something in common, because angular-translate is a runtime library and webpack a compile/build library (however, coming with a dev-server for "realtime"/live building)
    if you want to preload the stuff (means creating a non async loader artifact, say you want to include the language within the app artifact), you only have to load the json in question as a inline variable (angular translate static translations)
    if async, it is a standard way like documented -- webpack config is up to you.

    Hello, since I've added support to pluralization my files in english enc.json doesn't work anymore. It seems it's trying to load en.json but for all the rest of the languages is fine. How could I force to to load enc.json when en is requested?
