Sorry, I can't reproduce your issue. Are your sure that you have copied all infrastructure well? If your could create a demo on plunker, jsfiddle or something else then I would be able to help you. Btw do you see that it works from rawgit (https://rawgit.com/angular-ui/ui-scroll/master/demo/insideComponent/insideComponent.html)?
Alex
@atodicebear
Ive made a plnkr, but its not running.
http://plnkr.co/edit/Babysf1CcIa6AWI24Cgv?p=preview
app.js there I inject allways all Modules I need
index.html loading ui.scroll and more
export.controller.js the Logic. As you can see its "nearly" like yours. Difference is I have to call the get()function in $on.init() otherwise its not called and I cant see the Error. Btw the Array is empty?
export.html my Html for output. Everything works except no Output of the Example List
I hope it helps maybe for the Beginning.
Yeah I can see that your Code works thats why I dont understand why It Erros on success.
The Differences are only the adaptions to go with my Application
Denis Alexanov
@dhilt
Your plunker does not work because of you can't load sources like <script src="bower_components/angular-ui-scroll/dist/ui-scroll.js"></script>. There are two options:
1) make pathes absolute (http://...)
2) add sources locally to the project (New file)
Alex
@atodicebear
Im trying to create a Simple one with your code.
http://plnkr.co/edit/tKgf3GqeyOYefYNphEsv?p=preview
But it cant include the Libraries ui-scroll
Ive tried like the ui-bootstrap
And several other tries like
../../ui-scroll..
raw.github/...
cdn.rawgit/...
github.com/ui-scroll
Allways Error Connect...
How can I include it? :/

@dhilt
@atodicebear Here is the demo with rawgit sources attachments: https://plnkr.co/edit/Awcnyud2c2SIYUemLBjN
Please try it and build your own one based on it.

Hi
I have nested ng-repeat constructions for displaying a grid
Is it possible to replace them with ui-scroll?
Or should it be ng-repeat inside ui-scroll? If so then isn't it possible to implement partially rendering grid in both directions?
Denis Alexanov
@dhilt
@khenik you may use ui-scroll instead of ng-repeat and also you may use ng-repeat inside the ui-scroll item template
khenik
@khenik

@dhilt do you mean, that it's posible to write something like:

<div ui-scroll="item1 in dataSource1">
<div ui-scroll="item2 in dataSource2">
{{ item1.name }} {{ item2.name }}
</div>
</div>

Denis Alexanov
@dhilt
@khenik very interesting case! I'd never try something like this before... I meant that item2 may be iterated by ng-repeat
khenik
@khenik
@dhilt well, I just wanted dataSource1 to be updated by vertical scroll and dataSource2 - by horizontal scroll. It seems using of ui-scroll isn't appropriate solution for my case
Denis Alexanov
@dhilt
@khenik yes, horizontal scroll is out of ui-scroll abilities...
khenik
@khenik
@dhilt thank you for your response. Description of ui-scroll says that "unlimited bidirectional scrolling" so that's why I thought it worked both for vertical and horizontal scrolling
khenik
@khenik

@dhilt could you help me with one more question?
I'm not sure if it's possible to implement with ui-scroll.
Now I have a markup like:

<div id="some-grid">
<div id="frozen-column">
<div ng-repeat="item in items">{{ item.name }}</div>
</div>
<div id="scrollable-column">
<div ng-repeat"item in items">{{ item.description }}</div>
</div>
</div>
"frozen-column" scroll is hidden and it depends on "scrollable-column" scroll. I replaced ng-repeat with ui-scroll and it doesn't work any more. Did I make a mistake and it can work? Or isn't it possible to do this with ui-scroll?

Denis Alexanov
@dhilt
@khenik What is "items" in your example? It should be a correct datasource object, and this is the only thing that may not work as I see... It would be greate if you could provide a full demo on plunker or jsfiddle or whatever.
khenik
@khenik
@dhilt I wrote an example on plunker and everything worked fine :) It seems I have a problem with a markup in my real application. Thank you

Hello everyone. I'm struggling to get the new versions to work. After half year pause I updated my code to the newest versions, but somehow ui-scroll doesn't want to work anymore like before. With 1.6.2 I get $digest already in progress error, in 1.6.1 the adapter is not initialized. 1.4.1 was working best so far, but there a have the problem that the List is sometimes empty although the datasource returned items.
Matthias Tylkowski
@tylkomat
@dhilt any ideas?
Denis Alexanov
@dhilt
@tylkomat Yes! Try latest version, 1.7.0-rc.1
Matthias Tylkowski
@tylkomat
@dhilt I did, the adapter is not initialized, same with 1.6.1 and 1.5.*
Denis Alexanov
@dhilt
@tylkomat regarding 1.7.0-rc.1, could you please describe an issue with Adapter or give a repro?
Matthias Tylkowski
@tylkomat
@dhilt on github or here?
Denis Alexanov
@dhilt
Github would be better, thanks!
Matthias Tylkowski
@tylkomat
@dhilt do you have questions about my example at issue #170 ?
Denis Alexanov
@dhilt
@tylkomat not yet, just hope will able to see it during the weekend!
Matthias Tylkowski
@tylkomat
@dhilt thanks in advance

hi @dhilt
do you have plan for Angular 2? :)

Trying to make ui-scroll work well with some CSS we have. Our tables always take 100% width within their containers, so when we use the ui-scroll, it is throwing off all the TH tags' alignment with the TD tags. Anyone have a reasonable solution to this?
Denis Alexanov
@dhilt
@tommck I'm not a css guru, may be this issue could be solved via css, but it certainly could be solved programmatically. Just get th-widths on each digest cycle and force them as values of td-widths. To avoid forcing it for all td-blocks of all rows, you may inject some service tr-block and update only its td's.
Tom McKearney
@tommck
@dhilt - yeah, was trying to figure out the simplest option. Unfortunately a JS hack is probably it :(
Denis Alexanov
@dhilt
@tommck good luck!
Tom McKearney
@tommck
thanks :)
Tom McKearney
@tommck
@dhilt is there a way to know when the ui-scroll has filled the table with <tr>s?
I notice that the table is not filled when I'm trying to find the TDs at first
Tom McKearney
@tommck
it would be great if I could get a callback or event or somethign when the rows being displayed gets changed
Denis Alexanov
@dhilt
@tommck Try to subscribe on isLoading, and when it changes from true to false, you can be sure that after zero-$timeout the rows are rendered.
Tom McKearney
@tommck
I'll try that.. thanks
this is on the uiScroll directive?
Denis Alexanov
@dhilt
Yes
Tom McKearney
@tommck
ok, thanks. I'll figure out how to grab that from my code :)
Tom McKearney
@tommck
so.. I'm trying to encapsulate the header resizing and stuff in an "A" directive that goes on the table, so this might be difficult to do in a generic way
trying to make this resuable logic for other people on my team who tend to be less skilled
Denis Alexanov
@dhilt
https://github.com/dhilt/ui-scroll-grid -- this is my old exercise, it includes playing with tables and widths. I know, it is excessive and outdated, but it may be helpful in your case.
Tom McKearney
@tommck
:)
Tom McKearney
@tommck
If your dataset is externally controlled (maybe sorted or filtered), how do you trigger a reload of the data? YOu have to use a custom adapter at that point?
Tom McKearney
@tommck
oh.. figured it out, nevermind :)
