@christiaan-lombard You have to wait for the asynchronous navigation promises to end, because there can be at most one active animation at a time. It is stated in the NavController docs.

@Kobzol Maybe you can help with this: I have a ngFor directive displaying an a observable array in a list view, but if the observable is updated while a different view is active, the list does not update.
I will try to add a plunker later.

Are you using an async pipe with the observable array? If the UI doesn't update, you might try running a manual change detection cycle in the ionViewDidEnter callback.
