@s3ppo why don't one logout publish an event and in the app.component listen to such event and then route to whatever page you like

Can someone help me on how to resolve issues with ionic 2 icons not working? Just a few icons, I think mostly those without the ion prefix are working.

@bot101 I had a similar problem before it was due to difference platform https://forum.ionicframework.com/t/ionic-2-some-icons-are-not-shown-facebook-twitter/61110/3

@amreladawy Yours was resolved by pretending logo- to the icon you want to use, wasn't it? I want to use the ion-mic-aicon. I don't know if it would work but let me try it right away, thanks again.

@amreladawy I just did mic without the ion- or -a and it displayed ion-mic-a but doesn't work with -b or -c. I'll have to use this for now.

<ion-icon name="mic"></ion-icon>

@amreladawy thanks for your answer, but then i would have to do my unsubscribes in component.ts.. but the subscriptions are on the pages

@s3ppo please explain more.
@s3ppo or let me explain my point of view
In my apps, I keep the app logic in a separate .ts file name engine.ts
then, on the pages that will have the unsubscribe action will call the engine to perform the action.
The engine will do the subscription and publish an event USER_UNSUBS
in the app.component.ts you can listen to events published, and when the USER_UNSUBS is raised, set the rootPage to whatever page you want.

@dfront Don't save this var in component. take it from localstorage each time. or use your own service for hold, access , and load to/from storage this var

@amreladawy oh noo it seems the unsubscribes are not the problem.. the problem is that in one service i use a map to join another collection.. and it seems this sub subscription makes the problems. is there a way to unsubscribe deep?
