    the function returns a setTimeout
    it does not return the value lemonade
    the setTimeout DOES return lemonade
    but because its async it does not chain together
    in 3 seconds it just randomly returns lemonade
    into a black hole

    @OwenMelbz console.log: from subscribe

    @OwenMelbz
    bloody race conditions, so there is the change that IF the code happens fast enough it will work, but if its an api call to like twitter it will likely take longer
    this.translate.get(key).subscribe((res: string) => {
      console.log('1234')
    });

    console.log('5678');
    which comes first?

    @OwenMelbz

    my point is: get value from subscription and return it as a string
    Owen Melbourne
    @OwenMelbz
    first google result
    says you dont
    deal with it

    "you need to really sort your attitude out " - the only thing that I can agree with you
    can you show any line of that page that answers my question?
    Owen Melbourne
    @OwenMelbz
    no because you're doing it wrong 😂 read the link it tells you its wrong, and how to do it right

    Hey @OwenMelbz do you test on iOS 9 as well?
    Owen Melbourne
    @OwenMelbz
    I have not tbh, normally we agree support with our clients, typically we only ever support the latest version, unless they pay for backward compatibility

    Not sure what version of iOS Apple gave access to nitro to other apps - guess before then ionic would be sluggish

    Hi all. I've a quetsion with ionic tab component. I need to open a specific page when a push event are fired. In app.component i'm attach to push notification from plugin and, if it's a specific push, I emit a event. IN tab class, I receive this event, i'll parse and I make a navctrl.push(page). The page will be opened but, without tabs (and on Ios it's a big problem). How I can force the tab to remain?
    the email is being opened in MacOS Mail application but without an attachment.
    Hope someone already tackled this issue and will hint on solution. Googling and reading through the issues in the plugin’s repository didn’t help so far. Thanks in advance!

    Hello
    I have a problem, if I go on chrome, I search maps and I click on the link the maps application opens but inappbrowser if I click on the link is the webapp that opens as if I was in private navigation.
    An idea?

    or how share cookie between default browser and inappbrowser
    Owen Melbourne
    @OwenMelbz
    maybe not possible, what are you trying to achieve?
    FiReBlUe
    @FiReBlUe45
    I would like to share session cookies because I have to login via the default browser and when I go back to my application I launch InAppBrowser with this cookie.
    I try browser tab but no event as loadStart etc and not possible hidden url bar
    Owen Melbourne
    @OwenMelbz

    my initial guess is that its not possible, as could be considered a security risk - as it would mean that you could be logged into all browsers on your computer/phone at once, and if its shared etc would not be possible.

    If you can set up your app to handle protocol links e.g "YourApp://login:cookie-information-here" then when you login via the browser, it could redirect them to the app, with the cookie information, you can then inject that cookie information into the in app browser

    Hey all, I've kinda been thrown to the wolves on this project, it's my first exposure to typescript, angular, and ionic all at once. I'm doing okay getting my feet wet, but I'm having trouble finding where I can add code for my own custom classes and their logic
