@adibro500 you can use it. You are asking about rxjs with ng 6?
@fclmman yes but can u provide an example to how to do it?
@adibro500 yes of course mostly operators are used with pipe now. I will give you example in a few seconds. looking over my sources
@fclmman thx a ton
here is it
) .subscribe((x: any) => {
  whatever you are going to do

@adibro500 and here is

"rxjs": "^6.0.0",

version from my package.json

@fclmman what does takeUntil() function do?
@adibro500 that was just for demonstrationg multiple functions inside pipe(). TakeUntil takes an observable as argument and stops subscription when it fires. I use to unsubscribe when component is destroyed
@fclmman can u show me the code to allow only first n number of items from an array response?
can you fit this case into your code sample ?
) .subscribe((x: any) => {
  whatever you are going to do
How to switch from single quotes to double quotes ?
for cli generated files

Hello, when I run ng build --configuration=staging --output-path dist --output-hashing all --base-href=/ I get this error ERROR in ./src/app/app.module.ngfactory.js
Module not found: Error: Can't resolve '@my-lib/angular-common-lib/src/app/modules/index' in '\src\app'
can you advise on how to debug this? my-lib is a library created with angular-cli and ng-packagr

Hi all, I'm trying to execute Unit Test with Node instead of using Karma. Is it possible to use Mocha Chai and Sinon to test an Angular 5 application generated with angular-cli?
Anyone knows if it's possible to use ng-sw in an angular 4 app?
has anyone here tried to extend an injectable service
Devlin Duldulao
The src/manifest.json asset path must start with the project source root. I'm stuck here. I already changed a lot of paths. Can't figure it out.
hi guys need some help upgraded to angular v6 . while using angular 2 in tslint json i used to keep directive selector as empty object so it wouldnt complain about prefix but now in v6 it starts complaining about the app prefix
can you please help how to make tslint neglect this rule
Anthony Price
@bmovva taking will complain but as a warning. You could go in and change your elements with the hyphen withing your application.Just change them with your selectors.
@bmovva tslint not taking
how can I use common header and footer in two angular 5 projects ?
need help
Hi guys, I have problems with the deploy angular 6 in Apache server, I have the following error:
Any solution please?
Alex Rickabaugh
@losorio35 have you tried running locally in the CLI?
Can you reproduce the problem with ng serve --aot?
hey all, can someone help me understand how I would go about outputting multiple .js files to my dist/ directory from my angular.json file? Is it just a matter of adding different options? Like:
"outputPath": "dist/angular-webpack-check",
"index": "src/index.html",
"main": "src/main.ts”,
“something": “src/something/something.ts”,
“somethingElse": “src/somethingElse/somethingElse.ts",...
Looks like the above is not the correct way to do this, you’ll end up with an error:
Schema validation failed with the following errors:
  Data path "" should NOT have additional properties(something)
Hi guys, I have problems with the deploy angular 6 in Apache server, I have the following error:
Any solution please?
hello @alxhub , run ng serve --aot, and I still have problems deploy my angular project 6 to a server with apache
any solition please?
@here Regarding, Lazy loading of feature library modules from node_modules. Could we find a way to directly load a feature module from node modules, rather creating an wrapper?
Pawel Kondraciuk
Hey! So I have a problem :) Is it possible to set outputHashing only to lazy chunks? After build I need full name of main bundles (main, vendor, polyfill, runtime), ManifestPlugin works best for webpack, is something similar in cli?
what’s up everyone. Is there way to generate a module and not include a folder? ex: ng generate module foo that is not in the foo/foo.module.ts directory?

Anyone can help me

What is the best way to work with mat-select and mat-option in combination with ngrx? Currently the selected values are automatically set by the component, but for ngrx it would be best to only emit the changes but not updating the gui until the values are present in ngrx-store which then will update the gui via changed @Input-values.

I'm running ng update \@angular/cli as part of upgrading and getting self signed certificate in certificate chain error. Everything I see in github issues and elsewhere seems to indicate that this should be fixed, but I'm using latest cli and getting this error.
I do use a local npm repo (artifactory) and I have strict-ssl=false in my .npmrc file.

anyone knows when they will publish new @angular/cli, adding @angular/pwa does not work now

generating library does not work?

ng generate library my-lib -d
Your global Angular CLI version (6.1.1) is greater than your local
version (6.1.0-rc.0). The local Angular CLI version is used.

CREATE projects/my-lib/src/lib/my-lib.service.spec.ts (369 bytes)
CREATE projects/my-lib/src/lib/my-lib.service.ts (134 bytes)

...and thats all.... not much would be created :(

Hello guys, we are running our e2e tests via the cli command (ng e2e) and i was wondering if there’s a way to add the retry for the failed ones. Looking a little around i found protractor-retry but it fails when it attemps the retry (‘cause the cli doesn’t support the same protractor flags)
