Hello everyone, I am having this issue, any idea of how could I fix it? It is related to ng-template

did someone notice a problem like ng-click doesn't trigger on the first touch on iOS 10.0 ? ng-click itself works fine but somehow on few elements on the second touch instead of the first...the first just goes into a hover state.

@frederikprijck
Nov 09 2016 11:59
@Midako are u using ngTouch or fastclick ?

Hi guys,
Angularjs dnd-list for drag and drop not working for touch device.
Have any solution for drag and drop in touch device using dnd-list?

No.
Enrico Mattiazzi
@emattiazzi
Nov 09 2016 12:13

See Comparison between Directive definition and Component definition
Yes, you'll need a directive for that

thank you :) but i think its something different its the same directive in two different apps in the one app it works fine in the other not :D
Frederik Prijck
@frederikprijck
Nov 09 2016 12:31
So i guess it could be possible that the one app does use fastClick or anything like that and the other doesn't ?
Midako
@Midako
Nov 09 2016 12:32
nope its basically the same vendor, mostly some modules are different but they are nothing in this direction
but i will look into differences in the app now :D
Frederik Prijck
@frederikprijck
Nov 09 2016 12:33
Ye there should be something different
Midako
@Midako
Nov 09 2016 13:13
hmm it seems like iOS 10.0 does have a bug with click events ? D:
@frederikprijck i tried fastclick with fastclick it works like expected, maybe because is removes the delay (which got changes in 10.0 and is buggy or something)
not sure
or there is another module which requires something similar to fastclick
ah yea one module requires ngTouch
Frederik Prijck
@frederikprijck
Nov 09 2016 13:19
;-)
@Midako ngTouch is deprecated tho.
Midako
@Midako

@frederikprijck i have a problem with storing my array in cookies.
Vernuft123
@Vernuft123
Nov 09 2016 14:39
@frederikprijck can i bother you with a question?

I defined the following variable and functions in my controller:

 $scope.graph = null;

$scope.click = function() {
     $scope.createDimensions();
};
$scope.click2 = function() {
     console.log($scope.graph);
  };
$scope.createDimensions = function() {
        $scope.graph = {
            data: [],
            options: {}
        }
  }

I have two click function, when i press click it should call the createDimensions function which initialises some options for the $scope.graph var. When i press click 2 it should show the $scope.graph variable in the console but it says undefined. I need to be able to update this $scope.graph with new options. How can i achieve my goal?

biaggio12
@biaggio12
Nov 09 2016 14:41
make a $scope.graph an empty array

lemme think about it for a second

@biaggio12 the object still remains empty

seems to be working for me :dancer:

@biaggio12 A tip: It's awesome you put effort in making a plunkr
But it would be even more awesome if you remove unneccesary parts.

Having an issue with radio button validation using angular for true/false fields using ng-value...is this a known issue? Seems to be talked about back in 2013 but unsure if its been addressed...basically what is happening is I have the submit/print buttons set to be hidden until the form is completely filled out and each question is hidden until the previous one is answered...if I set the value to "false" the form suddenly becomes "valid" and the buttons are enabled while at the same time, the question below it gets re-hidden or stays hidden. If I set it to "true", the form becomes invalid properly(since I am not at the end) and the question below it gets shown. However, if I go back and change the value to no, the form becomes valid again and the hiding doesn't work properly
strange issue
Seems like its linked to this issue: angular/angular.js#2594
except it appears like its reversed for me

Nov 09 2016 16:55
anyone have any idea about this radio button validation? Its crazy because if I set it to just value instead of ng-value it works, but if I go and then try and update the form, none of the values are shown using value...they only show up as boolean's when using ng-value...but then it breaks validation...conundrum I'm in
so the solution would likely be to set the inputs to strings instead of boolean but I'm not sure if that is possible as it's linked to another DB that might store it's values as boolean
fun times, lol
biaggio12
@biaggio12
Nov 09 2016 16:58

Matt Erman
@CodeLiftSleep
Nov 09 2016 16:59
I think there must be some type of issue with how ng-value treats validation/required fields
I'm going to see if its possible that we can just change the way its stored to prevent the issue...or possibly just translate it into boolean if we have to before it gets stored
Matt Erman
@CodeLiftSleep
Nov 09 2016 17:26
easy fix, we just flipped it to string...he actually made a mistake because all the other forms use strings and not bools

we're migrating our app to Angular 1.5+ and for our form validation, we have a message at the top of the form that contains all errors and then each control is outlined in red. I would like to use ng-messages if possible. Any pointers on how to achieve this?
i.e. we don't want an error message next to each control, but instead all error messages grouped together above the form

Guys what do you think about: if an angular2 developer (front end developer) must develop with java too!? Is this normal? Is this possible in fact? To be updated to last technologie as well on front end as in java ? What do you thing about these requirements from boss or in job offers? Thanks

@istiti there is the java language itself, which isn't difficult to learn, but the biggest challenge is going to be becoming familiar with all the libraries you need to know, or at least be aware of so you can quickly lookup what you need to know
just like in javascript, there are so many different packages that do any number of things (think npm), but also within angular, there are several different packages - animate, forms, etc

@istiti I do both .NET and angular, it's possible but I don't recommend it for everyone if you want to stay on track of the latest things as it requires a lot of energy to be up to date with both.

Could someone help, I have just learned the Angular 2 language. I was curious, I cam upon this website https://material.angularjs.org/latest/demo/dialog While searching for an example of an Angular 2 popup or datepicker etc. These demos are so cool, but there in like an older version of angular. Is there a similar website with Angular 2 components?

Is there a way to get current ngMessages error messages as a string array in my controller?
